As someone that works in restaurant operations for a different concept, disappointed is putting it lightly.
Observed the manager on duty talk down to and belittle an employee over sauce and sauce count. To which he lied about putting honey mustard in the order. It is unacceptable to speak to employees like that in guest view.
Explains why the cashier seemed to be demotivated and care less, can’t blame him based on the small conversation I observed.
Not the first time, seems every time sauces are forgotten at this location when I visit.
Ordered 2 - 6 piece tenders both with large fry, received 2 - 4 piece tenders with what I would barely call a small fry. Although I hesitate to call them a 4 piece tender based on size, assuming DQ has a sizing standard for tenders, this location seems to be ignoring that.
Due to this my wife had to drive back to the restaurant to get the order fixed, at which the manager stated the fries were measured per standard, and proceeded to rummage through the tender box in front of her. I guess to verify? This is also unacceptable from a guest services perspective.
After remaking the order properly the manager proceeded to frustratingly toss the boxes on the front counter next to a dirty sanitizer bucket.
Prior to this locations remodel the previous crew that was always there when I visited were great, friendly, and quick. Since the remodel happened it has gone in the complete opposite direction.
Doubtful I will return to this DQ based on this visit and previous ones that issues occurred causing me to revisit the location to fix my order, any time...
Read moreThis is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any fast food restaurant. We place our order, and have a seat. I never heard a name or number get called after about 5 minutes, so I go up to stand at the counter. I see food sitting under the heat lamp (which is odd because part of the order is a salad. There are no employees at the front counter, they are all hiding in the back laughing. You can plainly see employees at the drive-thru window laughing, and joking with each other. When you make eye contact with these employees, they dip behind a counter out of view. I finally see someone picking at her hair with her fingernails, at least she didn't dip away when I made eye contact. I asked her "is that my order in the window," she came around to get the order and hand it to me, not even knowing if it is mine or not. Luckily it was, however the lettuce in the salad was wilted due to the heat lamp. The rest of the food was sub-par. We did purchase an ice-cream cake from the freezer which was good (yet overpriced), however that is the only reason this review gains a 2 star. The owner of this store needs to reconsider...
Read moreWent there on 12/10 at 4:15 pm. Only 1 customer in line. I approached the cashier with my purchase from the cooler, she turned and walked away to get a manager. Apparently she did not know how to ring up a cooler item. Manager rings the purchase up and tells me the amount. Not once was I ever acknowledged/greeted nor was I asked if that would be all. (First rule in any retail business is to upsell) . I brought this to the managers attention ( Paige ) who then asked 'Will there be anything else' with an extreme attitude. I told her that I was going to get 2 Blizzards to go but not now - with her attitude who knows what she was going to put in them. I tried to get some information on the franchise owner to inform him/her of this but that info must be kept hidden. So the only person that you can report bad behavior/service to is the store manager. I feel like I was a bother for them to serve . Suggestion to the franchise owner - Pay attention to the reviews and make your email address available to customers . It can easily be added to...
