I called Friday (12/06/24) to inform the manager I was going to be making the payment on Monday, instead of Saturday, due to an unforeseeable circumstance. I had only ever been late once prior, by 1 day. The manager was very rude with me, and vulgar, demanding not only to pay the payment that was late and the late fee (no problem) but also demanded that I pay a double payment. When I told her that wasn't going to happen, I'll pay it as scheduled, she became irrational and rude. This isn't a car payment, this is an appliance payment. This isn't how you keep customers. I'm going to take my business else where, because I'm not going to be talked to so unprofessional by someone who's just a manager at Rent a Center.
