Fort Crockett Park — Attraction in Galveston

In the historic Hampton Battery area lies Fort Crockett Park on Galveston’s Seawall. An iconic and historic place to the area, the park was in need of some updates to create an urban space. In this renovated park, native plantings, benches, picnic tables, shade and special plaques tell the story of the seawall, the fort and Galveston’s record of surviving storms. Absolutely beautiful beach off the seawall in Galveston. The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining, and the wind was calm as well as the sea. The beach was a little bit crowded but it was definitely worth stopping at and enjoying the view and the different sights they had...
