The trick is over simulation the moment you walk into the store and shower you with kindness and treats. Like an episode of How To Catch A Predator. Old ladies attacking from multiple directions to throw your game off.

Free stuff everywhere.

You don't have to tell me twice, I love free stuff. I'm trying to keep every penny in my pocket and these ladies are trying to take every penny of it. Quite the dilemma. I'm not going to lie, I spend about 500% more than what I plan to spend everytime because:

1. They sell you on their "amazing" product and tell you that if you buy 5 lbs you get 1/2 lb for free

2. They over pack your bags and force you to buy it once it's in the bag already

Look at it this way, $25 per pound of jerky is like getting filet mignon at mastros...which would you rather spend your hard...

I will never go back there ever again. They seemed nice but was shady and sketchy af. They would not let you choose how much you put in the bag, they will put a lot in the bag and lie to you, and over charge you. When I complained about how much it was at the counter and refused to buy all of it, the lady was not happy and pressured me to bring home $80 worth of jerky when I only wanted some small bags as snacks for my travels. The staff ladies there are a little pushy but actually very nice. They're willing to assist and offer useful advice, like how to preserve your jerky. The store is always supervised by a manager, and the staff just want to boost their sales. You can freely taste samples before you buy. They always weigh your jerky bags at the front desk, and you can ask them to take some out if it’s overweight. I bought 5 lbs there and was offered some really refreshing green tea.
