Gatherings — Attraction in Georgetown

Gatherings has been a mainstay of Downtown Georgetown for many years, but they recently moved to a new location. They are now in an old church building at 701 N Austin Ave (right across from McDonald's). The new location is a more appropriate home for their lovely antiques and unique finds. They even have an outdoor area now with a nice selection of odds-and-ends and architectural salvage. One of my favorite places to visit. Charming and full of beautiful, European antiques. There is also some great rusty crusty, story telling finds full of character. Pricing is fair considering it’s down town. Lots of highly sought out collectibles art pieces, religious items, old leather bound books, and rare ironstone. When I received a Jesus on cross decoration it fell and split in half revealing a note stating "goku can beat jesus". 😨Obviously this upset me as I was unaware of who this goku was and how he tarinished the name of my lord and was willing to fight him immediately.😤😤😤😡😡 Upon calling the store the lady there was very empethethic(big word LOL 😂) to my plight to find out the individual who put this blasphemy in my Jesus statue.
