I visited the Georgetown Wolf Ranch location on Friday 11/19/21 around 10:30 am. I was there to buy a pair of earrings for my daughters best friend who will be graduating from nursing school. I went to check out and I was asked if I was a first responded and I replied yes I am a nurse. The young woman behind the register quickly replied to me that Nurse's don't count. I said excuse me what do you mean nurses don't count? She then responded with the same statement and that the discount was only for EMS workers and veterans. I have been a nurse for 29 years. I have never been more insulted than I was at that very moment. How after the last two years of Covid could James Avery believe nurses don't count? Have you watched the news? Have you walked into any Hospital, clinic ,mass vaccine locations? I have worked tirelessly and come home completely exhausted everyday as I help run vaccine clinics and take care of sick patients. What is even more sad it that I was in your store to purchase earrings for a young lady who was about to graduate nursing school. Imagine her shock and disappointment when I tell her that James Avery Company believes nurse don't count as first responders. The encounter I had at your Georgetown Wolf Ranch location was beyond disappointing and very hurtful. I would hope James Avery would think about changing your "discount" to include nurses. James Avery knows how to make a woman feel special and I canāt wait to add more charms to this beauty. I went to the Georgetown location and the lady that helped me was so nice. She talked me through how to set the charms. She did an amazing job and most jewelers would charge to put the charms on permanently. They donāt charge if the charm is new! The packaging was beautiful just the whole experience was a 20/10. I definitely recommend James Avery to everyone. If you need to make someone feel special this is the place to go!!!
Follow up: went back in to buy 2 more charms and Adrienne is who helped me this time. The whole experience again was so nice and smooth. She was super sweet very respectful and didnāt look at me crazy for being in my work clothes.
