Gallery 30 is AWESOME !!!! A modern twist with old school charm. My wife and I do most of our Christmas shopping there. The products are made in the U.S.A. by real craft people. I have heard some people complain that it is too expensive however the products sold at Gallery 30 are made with superior TOP QUALITY material's. It is actually cheaper to purchase the top quality products sold at Gallery 30 verses the poor quality low grade products at Target or Walmart. A $20 winter hat and gloves purchased at Target or Walmart might last you 2 years and they usually look terrible after the first wash and they are not made by craft people. A $50 winter hat and gloves purchased at Gallery 30 will last a life time so in the end its cheaper to shop at Gallery 30. Also, the employees and owner of Gallery 30 know the products they sell and are happy to share the details and history of any product they sell. They will tell you what town the product was made in, they will tell you about the craft person or artist that made it and how its made. If you are ever in Gettysburg please do yourself a favor and check this amazing shop out. I promise you wont be disappointed. It's an all around positive experience that you wont find anywhere else.
Also, I would like to thank the owner and employees of Gallery 30 for always making my wife and I feel comfortable and important. These wonderful people really take the time to talk to their customers and I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have waited over a year to post about this store and my experience. I have lived in Adams County for four years. A friend and I decided that we were going to explore Gettysburg for the day. Gallery 30 was definitely on our list to explore. I have been looking for the perfect purse for years and I actually found it at this store! But I decided to look around a little bit more before I made my purchase. As my friend and I were near the front door, she whispered to me, did I notice how they were watching us. Which I replied, no. One thing you have to understand is, my husband was a Pennsylvania State Policemen , therefore, I was always treated with respect.
So I looked up and saw at least five employees staring at us, so I decided to go around and make another round through the store. She was correct with her observation they watched us like we were vagrants.
As I was looking through the reviews, I have seen that I am not the only one that was treated this way. I do expect some type of reasonable explanation/apology from the owner or manager for this type of behavior. You and your employees have gone beyond the scope of protecting your inventory. You have definitely shown me that the customer does not come first that you value the products in your store more so than the value of people....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorking in retail before I completely understand theft and being aware of customers. However on a recent visit after exiting the store, an employee came as we were exiting the store and wanted to see if my almost 19 year old daughter had put the wax melts she was looking at back. In the middle of the accusation she located them and said āoh there they are.ā Better customer service would have apologized and just explained that they need to watch because of maybe possible theft in the pastā¦but she didnāt which led my husband to go back in to confront the poor service only to be met with smug smirks and sarcasm. Way overpriced and literally the same merchandise for years. (Duke Cannon products twice as much than what you pay for at Target) Will never enter the doors again. The constant staring but never asking if you would like help, the following you around the store, the poorly acting secret shopper, the rude serviceā¦just a few reasons Iāll...
