Firstly, for a brewery to open with all 14 taps online with different beers - is impressive. The imperial stout was magnificent, the Cushwa collab DIPA was excellent - just about every beer I tried was very well executed, right down to the American Pislner. How about a German Dunkel fermented in a foeder with brettanomyces? What? But it was awesome! Head brewer, Ben Little has a perfect balance of leading-edge creativity and traditionalist to please both the classic and hip craft beer drinker. Other than a few small subjective critiques on the beer, I did not have one that disappointed - and several that impressed. I can't wait to see how the beer improves as they become more familiar with the new system and hit their stride! For the first night as a test opening the place was quite busy at 8:00 PM, yet we were served quickly. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we ordered a small appetizer (fried mozzarella) which was also prepared quickly and tasted delicious. It's clearly evident that the owners know a thing or two about running a successful business. The interior is stunning, a modern minimalist almost SoHo-styled design aesthetic, with cooperage containing aging beer that is proudly displayed along with the upright wooden foeders. An array of large windows to the left of the bar affords the patron a view into the extensive brewhouse to see the stainless steel in all of its glory. The clean design and sensible atmosphere is befitting of the metropolitan, the beer-nerd, and everyman alike. The perceived small exterior of the building is misleading, once inside you'll ask yourself how so much was fit into the structure, yet there is still plenty of room to sit and mingle. Just a remarkable feat of effort that was a long time in the making, but certainly worth the wait! Kudos to the Kranias brothers for what will be another excellent establishment here in Gettysburg. Their other business, Tommy's pizza just a block south has been famous in the area for both the pizza and rotating craft beer taps. Owner Drew knows the market well and has his finger on the pulse of what's hot in craft beer. Definitely worth a visit, I know I'll be going back.

My Smokehouse burger was dry and tasteless. Julie said hers was okay but maybe because she added provolone cheese (extra charge). My Pilsner beer tasted like a cheap larger and Julie could not drink her Porter it was so bad. They refunded her the charge for her beer. My buddy brews better tasting beer in his garage. No exaggeration! We went there because they had a 4.5 star rating and the menu online had things on it we wanted. But when we got there we discovered that they no longer offer these items: a bratwurst dinner and manchego cheese option on a burger. When we stop at a local brewpub and their business model is such that they have you order food at the bar and then they give you a numbered card to plant on your table so they know who gets what, then expect the customers to clear their own table (and they expect a tip; for what exactly?) we are already wishing we went elsewhere. What has happened to customer service? Thank you McDonald's! Cheap plastic cutlery. Metal trays with tissue paper instead of plates. Napkins so thin they can only be used once. Our appetizers arrived at our table along with our dinners...so you either eat your dinner and the app goes cold or...vice versa. Really? It is called a STARTER. Not a side order. We are full time RVers and we travel the country eating and drinking at local brewpubs. We love to give them praise, but this place really was a major disappointment. We will not be coming back. I wish we had gone to the local tavern down the road.

So, I was drawn in by the asthetics and higher ratings, but I was shocked that they don't provide even ONE small sample of beer. Your choices are pick a pint of something or purchase an overpriced set of four small samples. If you don't like it? They tell you too bad. If freeloaders are a concern or issue, then they could set a sample-to-pint purchased ratio for the staff or something. Getting the customer experience right involves getting them the beer they actually enjoy and given the profit margins on beer the zero sample policy is simply unacceptable. Aside from this highly unattractive feature, only one staff member seemed friendly and engaging. Ordered the "pulled chicken," which was actually roasted chicken (and written as such in the description - but the title set my expectation and ensuing disappointment). The dressing that came with it was great, but the sandwich was ok and not what I was expecting. The pilsner I had with the meal was really good. Bottom line, I don't plan on returning on my next visit to Gettysburg. They have the look of a brewpub, but lack the inviting culture and quality experience.

I went here for lunch with 2 other people, here is the review of our meal: Chicken "tenders" ($12) - They should not been called tenders at all. As the picture shows, the chicken was super thin, there was more breading than meat. Like a chicken tender is the meat under the chicken breast. I think they must have found these chickens starving under a bridge. Flavor was non existent. They were also dry. The fries would good tho, crispy and salty...yum😋 Mac&cheese ($9) - Super bland, hardly any seasoning if any. The noodles weren't cooked enough. Luke warm, dry, not that cheesy. An 8 year old with a box of Kraft could have done better. The 603 salad ($12) - Pretty alright. The chickpeas were nice and crispy. The tangerine chipotle dressing was flavorful. Large size bowl was enough to fill me up. Overall, the service and atmosphere was welcoming. We would not recommend Fourscore Beer Co. for food.

Came here for lunch with my child and mother. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The employees were nice to us. We had to ask for a paper menu because the menus on the screens from the TV went to fast. The menu didn't have much of a selection like most places. There was no kids section on it at all. The food wasn't really to flavorful. I ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich and Elote salad. My mother ordered a burger, which she said was good. My son got the chicken tenders which were extremely thin and crunchy. The Irish Wristwatch beer was good. The bathroom was neat with the tiles lining the walls and the pictures of Lincoln to accent. I doubt we will be back unless it's for an evening out for a beer or two. Just wasn't impressed with the food. But someone else may think otherwise. I'm just stating my opinon.

Wait no further, just get yourself to Fourscore. I will probably see you there since it is my new regular and favorite spot. If you are looking for great food (high quality ingredients and masterful combinations) combined with a wide variety of top-notch beer (4 beer sampler, small pour and full sizes available) located in a wonderfully decorated, open and relaxing space with a friendly staff, look no further. And for goodness sake, get the Catfish Tacos or the 603 Salad with Chicken Fingers and the Chipotle Vinaigrette (or literally anything else on the menu). The burger is amazing too. Just go, and then go again and try something different. You will not be disappointed. Family friendly, games, Sunday brunch specials and easy parking in the Hospital across the street on weekends.
