This place may look small from the outside but it's much bigger on the inside and is only outdone by the service you will receive here. It has a very colorful ambiance that is both inviting and relaxing. Their menu is a mix of both restaurant quality foods as well as bar snacks. I cannot compliment enough be professional quality of service so we received during our visit. The staff is friendly and the wait time for our food gave us enough time to review the menu, enjoy our drinks and have great conversation. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive being neither overbearing nor absent. We never had to wait for her. This is definitely not a chain restaurant and you can tell management is very hands on as the owner was very involved. Being from the South hospitality is key when I visit an establishment and The Gettysburg Company Rivals the hospitality you would receive anywhere in the south. The food was exceptional. Everything was hot when they came out and made to order. We ordered the Sidewinder fries with cheese and bacon and to say they did not disappoint would be an understatement. They have an extensive variety of beer wine and spirits that is sure to cater to everyone's tastes. We will definitely be visiting again and if you find yourself in Gettysburg I strongly recommend stopping by for the Sidewinder fries if nothing else.

The Gettysburger has ruined every other burger restaurant experience for me because none will ever compare! i have worked endless restaurants in my past, including many upscale, some regular chains, and steakhouses, too. Their burgers couldn't touch The Gettysburger's with a 10-ft. pole. The GB burgers have an amazingly authentic backyard taste - but unlike when you cook it, theirs is absolutely perfect. Two things stand out most: the freshness of the ground beef, and the perfect level of seasoning. It's gotta be there, but it's not too much, barely enough to discern, and definitely not enough to detract. Kinda like the liquefied carrot and sugar in a good marinara sauce. You might not detect it easily, but if they forgot it, you'd know something was missing. The beer list is fantastic, representing many great, independent breweries in the greater tristate area [PA-VA-MD (+DE)] And the service is excellent. On my last Gettysburg trip, Jen was my server on the first visit, and Bri, the bartender, waited on me on the second visit; both were very friendly, attentive, and accomodating. And JAELIN, the host, was refreshingly proper and professional, big ups to him! Such a courteous and polite young fella. DON'T SKIP THIS PLACE! It's a requisite stop when in town, you will NOT regret it! Burger: The Boss Beer: Troegs Nugget Nectar

Overall this place was awesome. There are a few tables outside but they were full when we went. The atmosphere inside was pretty cool and the service was excellent. There’s a bar in front and at the back of the dining room but lunch seemed pretty kid friendly. The Food: The burger was cooked well and had great ingredients but the namesake Gettysburger is literally too big for a human to take a bite. Mine ended up a sloppy mess. That being said, the burger patties tasted good and the bun, sauce combo was great. Just wished I had gotten a scaled down burger. The fries are an excellent take of curly fries. Gettysburg has a lot of great places to eat but I’d definitely make this a stop on every weekend trip. The price: It’s a hip, local burger spot. It’s expensive. I’d go in expecting every diner to average $20 to be safe. I think it’s worth it on a special trip as an experience but it’s too pricey to be a once a week option.

This restaurant in downtown Gettysburg is excellent for burgers and brews. Its close proximity to the square makes it a great spot to stop and grab a bite to eat. They even adapted my Cheese Burger Sub to fit the KETO Lifestyle by taking away the roll, making it a delicious and healthy option 😋
