Went to try to get help at PHX VA hospital. And it was more than a 24 hr. Wait. I was told there are 12 people housed upstairs that are waiting plus those in the waiting area. I cant stand for very long and I cannot sit. So my family drove me to the SE VA clinic to see if I could get help.
I have been a patient here for years and have seen 911 called for vets. I figured as long as the VA puts me/sends me, my bill will then be handled. I am currently waiting more than 3 months to see if a bill that the VA told me to go for the ER visit will be paid. Over $16,000! Why would I trust to check myself into any ER. The VA, I thought would be able to tell me what choices I had. Boy was I wrong. I got nurse powertrip AKA Nurse Diane Epler PHX SE TEAM 10 Dr. JANGA's nurse.
Nurse Diane said she was an ER nurse before and what I was experiencing was not an emergency therefore she was going to let me crouch in pain for 45 minutes while she washed another patients ear. Refused to get the doctor. Tells me to sit and wait. Refuses to call 911. I called 911 myself. Long story short, if you want help don't go to the SE clinic. You will get cold heartless monsters like Diane. She lies, diverts and could care less about your wellbeing. She went to the front desk to gossip instead of getting my doctor to say if what I was experiencing was an emergency. This is the treatment veterans get! She ended up calling security on me when she didnt want to do her job. I left with pain and no care. Shame on you Diane Epler. You dont deserve to "help" veterans. You are what is wrong with...
Read moreOne star because it took 2 month to be seen again for a slipped disk to be sent home (again) with the PROMISE of a PT referral (because apparently they didn’t put it 7 weeks ago when I asked for it) and I had to ask for Motrin. Didn’t even offer another steroid pack. I had to jump through hoops and call the pt advocate to get this appt and you sent me home with things I have already done. Motrin. And YouTube PT videos and your nurse even said “spine clinic is a joke”. Thanks. Also confused as to why she brought up my weight? I’m 5’11” and it was implied my 195 was too heavy. That’s more than fine for my frame. “Are you worried about your weight?” No, the reason for visit is back pain. Why are we discussing weight? I barely fall into the “overweight” category for BMI. So why was this discussed? Seems like most of your one star reviews are from women complaining their level of care is less than. I’ll be bringing that up with pt advocates and filing a complaint. 8 weeks of limping and you guys gave me Motrin, finally put in a PT consult (I think since she said “this will go spine clinic” and your nurse said spine clinic is only one visit therefore not PT) and messed up my appt four times. Failures all around. So many times. I mean I get you guys don’t care but you get paid to act like...

After a while i a guy walked out and saw all 6 of us sitting there and asked why we were there . then we were shuffled to yet another clinica while there and a Nurse comes running around the corner to tell me The Dr WILL NOT see you today ! now it is close to 1700 And I am to the point of being LIVID . my pain scale with my back is about a 9 and i can hardly move .So I went home and did the best i could . I got a call from the Drs head nurse the next Day and was told she never heard I was out there and she had informed the Dr months ago i needed help with my pain .Funny thing about it ,I have sent my records from the surgeon ( civilian ) about the need for surgery on my back . yet this dr Pupalla says...
