A bit puzzled by some of the really poor reviews... A little unsure what those reviewers were expecting, but this is community theater, and very decent for all that. All of the actors, directors, etc. are volunteers (many of whom return to do multiple shows, by invitation) and have "real jobs" and families in addition to giving up their hard-earned personal time to entertain the rest of us. They almost exclusively do comedies (as the theater's name suggests), and some even by nationally-known comedic playwrights that have requested their plays to debut at Pintello. It is a business that is run with friendliness and passion by great people who sincerely love their actors and audiences alike. If you show up expecting a Broadway-style experience, you are bound to be disappointed (although, their production of Avenue Q a few years ago was as good or better than the ones I have seen anywhere else!).
