THE RESURRECTION OF MY SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 BUSINESS PHONE
Juan who is the owner of JBFiX is an outstanding professional and exceptional subject matter expert. I highly recommend him and his team for all small, medium, and large high-end repairs for iPhones and Androids, multiple phone providers and tablets, as wells as all types of laptops and computers brands.
I was at a birthday party and stepped into a pool, my Samsung Galaxy S6 was in my back pocket. My phone got soaked and wet in the pool water.
Contacted JBFIX, and spoke to Juan directly who is the owner. I passed by his store and left the phone. Juan was extremely personable and caring. Several chips from my phone were damaged. He cleaned the inside of the phone with a special liquid solution, dried out the phone, and bypassed the damaged chips to retrieve all possible contacts and photos. Thereafter, removed the beyond repair chips that have been shorted.
Juan retrieved my contacts and photos and put them in a flash drive. He also sent them to my personal email address. Juan put together the phone back to its original state and gave it back to me, requesting I wait for one day before turning it on and moving with next steps. I did exactly that, and turned on the phone after one day, and guess what, the clean-up of the phone worked, my phone did boot up. However, I couldnāt see anything and the USB charge port even though worked charging the phone, could not connect with a laptop, desktop, or tablet to back up any data.
The screen had very faint signs of a purple color and I couldnāt see or type anything. I could hear texts coming through, and phone calls, which indicated the SIM was not damaged. I called Juan and explained the situation. He was very excited with the prospect of the phone being alive again. Juan asked me to immediately come to his store to test the digitizer of the screen. He was right, the digitizer/ screen needed replacement. Juan replaced it and WOW, we can see the screen and we can type the password to enter the phone. Now that we can see and enter the phone system Juan started checking everything (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, etc.). He identified a) Wireless was not working correctly (Signal was not strong enough and or dropping) and the mobile providerās 4G signal was none existent.
Back to testing again several chips. Juan explained, from the water damage the USB charge port also needed replacement. He put the phone back together with a temporary USB charge port so I can at least charge the battery until the new permanent USB port arrived. While having the temporary USB charge port, wireless and 4G signal was extremely weak, and couldnāt make phone calls as before. Once Juan did his MAGIC on the chips, and the new USB charge port arrived and installed I had full signal on wireless and 4G. We both were very happy with the outcome.
Unfortunately, some chips needed to be replaced however I opted to remove them with the expectation I would not be able to connect to the desktop and transfer my data, but can do it wirelessly which is the same. Juan and his team were tenacious and took as much time required to get the phone to a functional state. I commend Juan, and his team behind the scenes. Juan is an unbelievable and excellent problem solver, and a person that I will bring anything technological, ¬¬ mobile or otherwise to him, so it can be fixed. I can attest he can definitely do a fantastic job. Juan is amazing!!!
You are in the best hands possible. Juan resurrected my phone. I am so happy I have my phone operational. Not only operational, I didnāt lose anything. All my contacts, texts, setups, and applications, stayed intact! THE COST WAS UNBELIEVABLY FAIR. He also recommended a very good restaurant for me and my wife, and gave me 2 Gilroy Gardens tickets for my Kids. How can you beat that! Truly personable and caring beyond his professional and exceptional services!!!

This review is not written with a purpose to smear a potential competitor, as our shops are over 30 miles apart from each other. I reached out to Juan, the owner of JB Fix in hopes of creating a working relationship whereas he could provide certain services I was not equipped to offer my customers. I initially met Juan over a year ago before I open my shop in downtown Monterey. He appeared to be both knowledgeable and reputable although that has now been proven not to be the case. Approximately 1 month ago I made contact with Juan and discussed this B2B relationship. Based on the conversation and his willingness to help I sent him several items I could not repair. Primarily, these were more complicated jobs requiring special board level soldering work for which I don't have the training or special equipment. Juan and I spoke on the phone several times over a three week period where he had expressed progress on the various items. That's when things got weird. I noticed it was becoming increasingly more difficult to get in touch with Juan or his employees for updates. Even during normal business hours, my calls would go straight to voicemail. If someone did answer, my messages went unanswered. It soon became clear that my phone numbers were being blocked. Juan hid behind his employees. After several weeks of no response, I decided to visit his shop in Gilroy. When I arrived his shop was closed even though it was during normal business hours. I decided to visit his new location in Morgan Hill and spoke with his employee who contacted Juan via text. I was being redirected back to the Gilroy location where supposedly Juan and his employee were waiting for me. Upon returning to his Gilroy location, the shop was still closed with Juan nowhere to be found. About 25 minutes later one of his employees arrived to tell me they no longer wanted to do business with me but did not have mine or my customers's property to return to me. Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: owner reached out to me and I was able to get my phone fixed. Dropped it off at 1 and picked it up at 6. Just had to leave tape in place for a couple hours till the adhesive dried. The screen and back were replaced. Phone looks great and works great. I have no clue how this place is in business I went in to get my phone screen fixed told they had to order the products and that they would be in on Tuesday well I had to work and told them I would be in Saturday. The following Saturday I went in, they told me the product had not come in and would be in Monday. Instead of driving 20 miles for no reason again so I called Monday. Again told item hasn't arrived but would be in the next day. I called the next day and then tild they had the item but werent opening that day cause owner had just had their baby.
