I had two separate orders.. the cashier was John m. So it says on the receipt, he wasn’t the problem it was whoever was helping him. It’s really not that big of a deal but the entire time that I was putting my groceries on the conveyor belt from when I checked out, all these guys did was talk. Not to me to each other. I told the cashier that I had the two orders and I separated them and he wasn’t really paying attention to me and he started to scan an item from a different order I had to tell him no about 4 times! Anyways.. so the person who was suppose to be boxing my items that are on the conveyor was just putting things where he wanted.. I told him “ do you realize that you are mixing my orders up?” He said “ do you want to box them? Because I didn’t see how you took them out of the cart” (probably because you weren’t taking your job seriously) then goes on about how I can make it easier if I looked for boxes or brought some so I can have them already separated... I’m already aware of this and I’ve tried their way before and it doesn’t help me. Especially if I have big orders.. I’d still have to take everything out of the boxes to be scanned at the register.. so now I’m already irritated at the fact that he thinks I’m stupid but it’s actually the other way around.. see he was talking so he mixed my orders. He was lazy because he didn’t even try to put even the little things in boxes.. and then he tries to blame me for his mistakes by making a comment about bringing my own boxes. If he was doing his job we wouldn’t of had a problem.. and at the end of it I take my receipt and say thank you. Guess what he says??? Nothing. I’m so sick of this locations employees.. they all have attitudes, they are lazy, and I’m sick of the way I’m treated here. I haven’t came across any nice ones yet. Actually, the lady on the way out that asks how my ac working and the sparklett vendors are the only nice...
Read moreCostco Wholesale is a wonderful place to shop if you have two or more people living in a home with ample freezer, fridge, and pantry space--if you are not too picky about brands. While their brand selection is decidedly limited, what products they do offer are very reasonably priced and of exemplary quality.
In particular, the Kirkland Signature store brand can almost always be relied upon to be as good or better than your favorite name brand products, quite unlike virtually every other store brand in existence. It is not as cheap as "Great Value", but then it also is not as "cheap" as "Great Value". You can trust the store brand such that when trying something new, you can confidently go with Kirkland Signature, where available. In fact, over a decade of shopping here, I have found only one Kirkland Signature product which did not impress me: their multi-grain bread.
That said, the virtues of Costco go far beyond what you can buy and for how much. The atmosphere is quite different, and people--from the customers to the staff--seem genuinely happy to be there. If you are like me and dread going to that soul-sucking void known as Walmart, you may be shocked to find that you actually look forward to Costco trips. It is difficult to put a finger on this one, but the value of its contribution to a less stressful life should not be discounted.
Make sure you are aware of the business hours, and give yourself ample time to complete your shopping. This is not a 24-hour business, and unlike many other stores, they will start shutting down and herding the customers to the front in advance. This may offend some people, but I think it is wonderful. To me, it is a sign of respect to their employees, who deserve a predictable schedule as much as you or I, and I respect a company who respects...
Read moreGreat location even though one of the busiest in the valley. The staff are top notch, store is clean, well stocked, self checkouts available, and convenient location
Both the food court and item shopping check outs have human cashiers plus self check outs. The self check out is particularly useful and quick if you don't have too many items or for fast food court service.
Parking is ample here with multiple lots from several entrances. The cart returns are spread out nicely and very rarely are there stay carts in the parking lot.
The fuel center is popular yet moves quickly most days. The helpful signs above tell you which lanes are open or once and awhile not open.
The carwash is a great quick drive thru clean for around $8. An affordable and convenient option that is rarely busy unless it rained the day prior. Even then we have never waited long. The car wash is an b excellent option if you want to save money over the standalone carwash companies monthly fees and you don't need to wash daily.
The only con are the restrooms can NOT be accessed without passing through a check out line like several more modern locations. Why Costco would block this off when the self checkout was installed is wild. The work around is to abandon your cart or leave someone from your party behind to use the bathroom.
Additionally Costco is still lacking a modern checkout method via the mobile app like it's major big warehouse competition has. Being able to use your phone to purchase gas and self check is an amazing feature that does get us to spend money at the "other blue warehouse" when an item is not exclusive to Costco.
Overall this place rocks and has tremendous value! Visit and check it out for yourself.
Pro tip: shop during the week or Friday evening for slower times. Sunday is by far the...
