UPDATE: Despite my initial inclination to downgrade my overall rating from 5 stars to 4 stars due to the slow service provided by two employees at the bar on different days, I have decided to maintain my rating at 5 stars. My recent experience last Friday changed my opinion significantly. On that day, the presence of two exceptionally efficient and organized bartenders, Abby and Oneidra, left a lasting impression on me. Their synchronized teamwork and speedy service were truly impressive. These two individuals have reinstated my faith in this restaurant, and I look forward to future visits thanks to their outstanding service.
What an absolute transformation since my last visit five years ago! I had sworn I'd never set foot in this place again, but I'm thrilled to report that everything has changed for the better. From the moment we stepped through the door, Alyssa and Jazmin, greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel like cherished patrons. Their exceptional customer service set the tone for the entire evening.
We opted to sit at the bar area, where Joaquin skillfully crafted a frozen strawberry margarita that surpassed my previous favorite from another Mexican restaurant. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. From that moment, this establishment instantly claimed the top spot for margaritas in my book. And let's not forget to mention their fantastic happy hour, which runs from 3pm to 7pm every Monday Thru Friday.
But the pleasant surprises didn't end there. The food experience was equally remarkable. The quality of the dishes was outstanding. Each bite was bursting with authentic flavors and made with fresh ingredients. The culinary team had truly elevated their game, and it showed in every dish we ordered.
Overall, my return to this restaurant was nothing short of a revelation. The warm welcome from Alyssa, Jazmin, and Joaquin, coupled with the outstanding margaritas and delectable food, completely transformed my perception. This place has now become a go-to spot for me, and I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI must admit I eat at this location maybe Once every 2 months for the last 10 years. Reason is because I don't eat out much. I'm A pretty good cook and I prefer to cook my own food. My last couple of visits were in the Month of August and September 2016. In August I met a friend for lunch and the beans They serve with the chips and salsa was very Watery it didnt even look appetizing, so I didnt Even touch it and my meal wasn't to parr if Comparing to my other visits in the past 10 years. The service also lacked attention. The Manager did come by and asked how everything was going with the meal and I chose not to make a stink because the person I was dining with was just a casual friend and I shrugged it off as being an isolated incident My next visit was a couple of weeks later with A relative and it was in the evening for dinner. My first clue should have been the lack of Diners because the place was always rocking In the past. The service was real good so no complaints there. The cooks are the one's who need to be replaced. They served us spoiled beans and dry food and this time My relative did speak up and the manager Came by with a new dish of beans from another pot and he did admit the beans we Were eating were spoiled, to my surprise It was the same manager from my lunch Date a couple of weeks prior. I really think the Manager could have handled the situation better since we were pretty much done with Our meal and weren't hungry anymore, so a new dish of fresh beans wasn't appealing anymore. I think he could have credited our meals or at least one! Its clear to me that this New manager doesn't know how to run this restaurant and sadly I will not be returning and As I can clearly see allot of other customer Are not returning from the looks of the place On my last dinner visit and I advise you not To waste your time or money here with so many more selections along Bell road and 83rd ave. I predict this place not surviving Another 6 months with all the competition of the other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBEWARE OF COMING HERE! MEAT/VEGGIES MIGHT NOT BE FRESH!
This place is where I typically went to go for Mexican food while coming out to visit my mother, and grandfather who lived in Phoenix. I guarantee I won't be coming here any more.
I went out with my mother and two of her friends and got the fajita. They got burritos and a queso cheese dip (which was pretty good). My fajita was brought out and set on fire as a show type thing which was pretty neat, but my meat/veggies were burnt. It wasn't burnt enough that I would send it back but it was enough to have a slightly bad aftertaste of what was burnt. Everything else the others had was good from what they said, but after we left is when I knew something was off with the food.
We had to make a stop at the store to pick up some things and I felt my gut turning and ran to the bathroom. Something about the meat or the meal I had wasn't fresh or good. I know it was Arriba's food since my mother's friend said he had the same feeling in his stomach. This type of thing never happens to me either. I can eat almost anything without having something like this happen to me.
I've eaten at countless fast food chain restaurants (including Taco Bell) and even suffered through my own cooking. I have never had food affect me like this, so this must have been some really REALLY bad meat they served me and something was off. I'm not going back, not because the food is absolutely atrocious. I'm not going back because I doubt the quality and the cleanliness of the kitchen. If the meat/veggies there are actually good quality it would never have done that to my stomach. As I said, my stomach is basically iron clad when it comes to...
