Figured it was time to write my review. I didn’t feel inclined to before, but I feel like I must now. Been here since 2019 and have seen lots of shifts in the building in terms of the people, cleanliness, and rule changes. I’ve had a man break my windows by throwing rocks from the outside. Police had to come. I asked Modera to change my apartment location because I didn’t feel safe, and was met with a lot of resistance. I had stuff stolen from my storage locker in the parking garage. I asked for footage from the cameras and was met with resistance with that as well. I was also told that the camera couldn’t even see where my car is parked. Apparently, my car is in a blind spot that I didn’t know about before. Security comes at night, does a quick! walk through, and then leaves. Police had to come to the unit next to mine and use a battering ram to open the door. There was someone screaming out of concern for who was inside. A gun went off in this building and for my own safety I asked which floor, and was met with no answers and no follow up as to what happened. I also witnessed from my window a male on the edge of the balcony threatening to jump. The quality of the building also went down during this time in terms of cleanliness. Pet waste stains in the carpet, in the hallways, in the garage, and the stairwells. The stairs have cigarette butts and/or trash. There was a carpet cleaning, but it wasn’t enough. People smoke here and management can’t seem to do much about it besides email tenants. One day I noticed that there were cracks in the ceiling and on the floor, which makes me concerned for the actual stability of the building. During the pandemic I paid every month with limited access to amenities. Now, they’ve changed the hours at the gym. It used to be 24/7, which is something I really liked in my lease. Parking used to be a little tricky in the guest parking area, but it got resolved with residents getting a guest pass every day from the office. Now, the current manager has focused even more on it with a digital system. Parking is so empty now because people are afraid to park because of all of the new rules. You can have guests come short term (6 hours) but you only get 24 hours in a month. If you want guests to stay over, you get 5 full day passes a month and that’s it. After that if you want an overnight guest, you have to pay $5 a day. It baffles me that the amount we pay for a luxury building, tenants are being put in a position to choose when/how often they can have someone come visit. Or they have to “figure out” how many passes they have left in a month. Absurd. Residents aren’t allowed to park in guest parking, but if they pay now it’s okay. The rules just seem inconsistent to be honest. They tried to raise my rent $700 with a lease offer. That was with no upgrades to my unit or to the building. Price gouging at its finest. This building loves money, simply put. Seems like they’re trying to make up for people not paying rent during the pandemic. They towed one of my guest’s cars. They said they’re supposed to give you a courtesy call, but I didn’t get one. I asked for the location of the towing place and was given the wrong address. SMH. It did get resolved with the manager Chris, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. It just seems like long term tenants aren’t valued as much as new ones. They want new people to come in and pay higher prices over keeping long time tenants happy. So many people I know end up leaving because of these concerns. Maybe I’ll be next. I’ve loved my unit, and the maintenance guys are good and responsive. Location is great. The change in management here has just really soured it for me.

We moved in as of the 12th of November... finally! I say finally only because my previous lease took a bit longer than anticipated to get out of. Anyways, I would like to get to the very important point of explaining why I am giving Modera Glendale and RICHARD NESEL a 5-STAR rating. From the first moment my wife and I met Richard, he was a pleasant and professional individual that one would like to be around. He greeted and welcomed us to the incredibly sexy leasing office with fresh flowers all around, coffee machine, and drinking water infused with freshly cut lemons or something tasty like that... you get the idea. We also noticed the beach cruisers parked with the Modera Glendale logos and beautiful paint job (4+ available for all residents wishing to borrow them for a ride around the romantic Brand Blvd. Richard got the information he needed from us and proceeded to show the different units available that fit our needs. To shed more light on the "above and beyond" service we got from Richard Nesel, I would like to begin by saying that it was painstakingly long process for my WIFE and I to decide on the unit we wanted, kept switching units. Richard hung in there like a champ, keeping the most important factor of our decision in mind; the fact the this is where we will live for a long time. He and the team invest in the relationship with the residents, creating a long term commitment to be a pleasant part of ones daily living and environment. Roxana (Manager, I believe) was extremely understanding and honored the "deal" when we switched to a different apartment. The move in was as good as moving can be... na I'm sayin? Elevators are pretty huge and I was able to get my large (10ft wide) Arizona Leather couches in with no issues. Parking is great, but I wish we could have electric vehicle charging stations for all residents that own an EV. It would be nice to have spots where we can pay when using (ChargePoint +). The overall feeling and quality of the construction is impeccable at this building. THICK WALLS, so you NeVer hear a single neighbor and I can play my Bose sound system pretty loud without a single complaint. The appliances, dark cabinetry, floors, mouldings, and finish look like the expensive stuff you get for your own permanent home. So incredibly happy with our move to this apartment home community. Thanks to the team at Modera Glendale with emphasis on Richard and Ivan!

Been here almost two years now and have not experienced anything less than...

I would like to give this review at the end of a 15 month lease here at Modera Glendale. The commitment to providing an outstanding apartment living experience truly stood out from day one. In particular, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the manager, Chris Babaian, and his leasing consultant Aeriell. The maintenance team, Larry and Jeff, who also collectively made my rental experience exceptional.

First and foremost, the manager's dedication and sincere caring for the tenants is truly commendable. It's rare to encounter a property manager like Chris who goes above and beyond to ensure that tenants' needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. His commitment to creating a comfortable and welcoming living environment is evident in every interaction. Chris has a proactive approach to resolving issues and his genuine concern for the well-being of tenants makes him an invaluable asset to Modera.

Equally impressive is the leasing consultant, Aeriell, whose willingness to help and assist me was a breath of fresh air. Her friendly demeanor and eagerness to answer questions and provide guidance made the leasing process smooth and stress-free. It is nice to see dedication to ensuring that tenants have a seamless move-in and out experience which reflects the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

The maintenance team at Modera, Larry and Jeff, deserves special recognition for their outstanding work ethic and expertise. Their quick response time and skill set are unparalleled. I have had only a few minor apartment repair issues during my tenancy, and each time, the maintenance team was swift in their response and efficient in resolving the problems. Their professionalism and attention to detail in addressing maintenance requests have truly enhanced my living experience.

If you're in search of an apartment and manager that truly cares about its tenants and delivers top-notch service at a luxury apartment complex in a great location, look no further than Modera Glendale. I researched online, visited other apartments and looked for weeks before finding Modera, and glad I did. They have certainly earned my trust and...
