My sister booked this hotel for my birthday trip in July 2025. We had a wonderful time staying here and it was so much nicer than a lot of pricier hotels we've stayed at. This is an ideal location for many of the wonderful things to see and do in the area. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful the whole time. The room was clean and spacious and we had a lovely view of the mountains. We particularly loved the separate cozy corner sitting area! The bathroom was clean and spacious enough for our needs with ample room for all of our toiletries, and the shower was very nice; the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled lovely. We took advantage of the breakfast offered each morning and I was surprised at the extent of the offerings for both hot and cold foods. Even my sister, who is Vegan, was able to find food she could eat that satisfied her - that doesn't happen with a lot of hotel breakfasts! There was a small convenience area with snacks, drinks, and toiletries, which was nice when we wanted something to drink late at night. What really surprised and delighted both of us was how quiet it was. There were a lot of guests staying there but we rarely heard anything outside of our room. The valet parking was excellent and we felt like they treated the car with respect and they were very helpful when loading and unloading the car. Ordering the car with the app was super easy and we never had to wait more than five minutes anytime we needed the car. The only issues we had were that there wasn't a microwave offered as a standard room amenity, though you can request one be brought to you, which we did (the first one wasn't clean so they quickly brought us another). I also would have appreciated advance notice that the water is soft - I have sensory issues and it took a long time to feel like I was getting all the soap washed off. Neither of these was any reason to downgrade from a 5-star review. We were so pleased with our stay that I am booking another stay for my sister's birthday...
Read moreUpdate: This is my second time staying here because we had a great time with our small dog on the first visit. It was night and day compared to the first from great to bad. We checked in online and confirmed for a request in the upper floors. Here's when things going baf. We arrived and the lady said we didn't completely checked in online. Geez. It's either checked in or not. She gave us a room on the 3rd floor even though we requested a higher floor and there was availability. Because we have a pet, she said only the 3rd floor. What BS. We stayed here before and had the top floors. It's not like they are fully booked. Too tied to go on so we just when to our room. The room didn't seem clean. Spots on the floor and red marks like blood near the table. People with pets paid $75 cleaning fee. My dog is cleaner than most humans 😂. This room is right next to an ventilation and AC unit. Fan was noisy. With the closed double pane windows, you can still hear it. That first night, the room next door had night club music from 1 am to 6 until we called. Not a restful night. The next night was better but still hear the fans. We would have ask for a room change if the bass noise happen again. Not a great experience this time and a tired stay.
Original review: A casual hotel that is pet friendly and in a great location. The Galleria and many restaurants are within walking distance. The staffs were very friendly and didn't have any issues with our small dog. Taking a star away because the hotel doesn't have a parking lot or self parking and you have to pay $22 for valet with in and out privilege. The pick up by text takes about 10 mins and longer when they are busy. The room is a great size like any other Hyatt places. Our room has a view of Sears and the mountains on...
Read moreDO NOT use their valet parking service unless you want to risk damage to your car. They dented my vehicle and then tried to dismiss it as a "pre-existing condition." This is a brand-new car, only two months old – I know it inside and out, and there was no damage before. All I wanted was the truth – if the damage was somehow pre-existing, fine. But their refusal to show the pre-taken photo makes me seriously doubt their honesty and competence. This whole experience reeks of negligence and feels like a scam.
To make matters worse, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, telling me that the parking service is none of their business and instructing me to track down the PMC parking manager myself. For a hotel to pass the buck like this is completely unacceptable – they offer the valet service, but the moment something goes wrong, they leave the guest to deal with the fallout.
The parking also requires prepayment for the entire stay. When I noticed the damage after the first night, I immediately stopped using the service, but they still charged me for all 3 nights, totaling $138.60. And to top it off, I didn’t even get the refund automatically. Now I have to waste more time contacting the property to fight for my money back. What an exhausting and frustrating experience.
Even if they offer some loyalty points as compensation, it means nothing – my car is still damaged, I was treated horribly, and now I’m stuck chasing a refund.
Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of hotels that know how to treat guests with care and respect – this is not one of them. This place is disorganized, dishonest, and not worth the risk. Avoid it...
