Adventureland Store — Attraction in Gloucester Township

Before there was Voorhees Town Center there was Echelon Mall and a store called Hall of Heroes. It was a store that had comics, toys, and apparel. Unfortunately when the mall became the Town Center it was one of the stores that left. However Adventureland Store (located in what used to be Hot Topic) has filled that void. Not only does it have a great selection of comics, toys, and apparel at great and very reasonable prices, the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. As a girl that’s into comics I know how important it is to have a place where a girl can go into that sells comics and not feel uncomfortable or out of place for being in there. So in September 2023 I pre-ordered the first issue of wolverine versus predator. I told them which variant cover I wanted on the computer and the name of the artist and they ordered me the wrong one. When I went months later I told them it was the wrong one, so they said they would send it back and get the other one. It’s now March 2024 and they still haven’t gotten the comic book, every time I go, they say the same thing it still hasn’t gotten here yet. I don’t know why it’s taking so long but it’s definitely the last time I order anything from them. NO HELP WHAT SO EVER ! Do not recommend!

Good store in terms of the products they sell, but their return policy sucks. I tried to return an item and I was told that they only take returns for in-store credit so if you’re ever debating on buying something from them, you’re better off just not buying it because if you decide you want to return it, you can’t get your money back. Nowhere on the receipt does it say anything like “returns are only accepted for in-store credit”. I’m not a business owner, but in my opinion that’s just not a good business decision.
