I donât live an expensive life. I donât drink $6 coffees, I donât drive a car with seat warmers, and I certainly donât drop $50 on a mascara without a full existential crisis. But when it comes to makeup? Iâm a full-blown snob. Drugstore brands donât cut itâI want Clinique, Smashbox, Too Faced, the whole velvet-roped crew. The only problem is, my wallet didnât get the memo. Thatâs where the Cosmetics Company Store comes in like a budget-savvy fairy godmother, tucked behind an unassuming storefront at the outlets, hiding pure cosmetic joy behind its bland little logo.
Step inside, and itâs like breaking into the Estee Lauder family vault. Weâre talking Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, and even the stuff Sephora keeps behind glassâat prices that feel borderline criminal. And unlike the chaotic gamble of Marshalls or TJ Maxx, this place actually stocks multiple shades of popular products. But the real religious experience is their 6 for $60 sale. Six full-sized, single items (no palettes or a select few âmust-havesââany comboâfor ten bucks each. TEN. DOLLARS. One of the items I grabbed last time was forty bucks on its own. It felt like I was robbing the place in broad daylight, but with permission. The store itself is spotless, organized, and easy to navigate. My last salesperson? Eh. She had the charm of a folding chair and the product knowledge to match. But she was the exception. Most of the staff Iâve dealt with have been wonderfulâfriendly, helpful, and the kind of people who know their way around a highlighter palette. This place is my...
Read moreI went inside and there were some good deals. However very quickly I realized some things seemed off. I saw a bunch of open mac lipsticks out with caps off that looked like testers-- which would be fine if they didn't have price tags on them and you weren't selling them. Going into this store is literally the equivalent of going in the back of an Sephora or Ulta and going dumpster diving. Its literally so unsanitery to sell open and damaged makeup products like that. You can find some gems here, but unless you want to risk getting sick because someone may of tampered with a product I wouldn't recommend going here. There is also a sign up asking that you do not take pictures of any of the makeup products, which is super sketchy considering I've never seen that inside any makeup store before. You're better off just getting dopes from the drug store or...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to buy makeup. The staff is great and very helpful. The selection they offer from skin care to makeup to perfume is very nice considering the size of the store. To clarify if it is your first time visiting this store, if you see for example the Mac lipsticks and you only see the tester. I know they keep the Mac lipsticks in the back so you bring the lipstick tester you would like to purchase to the register and the sales associate will bring you a brand new lipstick from the back. The prices will be on the testers because some styles have different prices but once you pick a color. Let a store Associate know and they are more than happy to help grab the color you want...
