Staples — Attraction in Goleta

After the recent passing of our mother my sister and I spent a week going through boxes and boxes of photos to have poster boards made for her celebration of life. Staples was recommended for the project. So we took all the photos in and spent 20 minutes speaking with a young man about what we needed because we didn’t own a computer. He walked us through the website to show us the poster boards, sizes, layouts, and colors available. He explained his manager would have to do 1 of the projects because he didn’t know how to accomplish it. He explained the photos would be scanned by morning then we would receive an email to come in and finalize the poster boards they next day. No email, my sister had to call them. When my sister went in to finalize the boards they handed her a USB drive and she was told she could do it online. Those weren’t the arrangements made. If we wanted to do it ourselves we wouldn’t have gone to Staples to start with. We made it very clear what we needed and the Staples staff dropped the ball during an all ready emotional situation. UPS lost a shipment of printed materials we needed for an event that started on a Sunday. In a panic, we found Staples was open and spoke to their print center. They were willing and able to rush and print 11x17 card stock signage for us on a weekend, with short notice. They followed up and were very accommodating, and really saved us a lot of headaches (unlike a certain freight company who was no help at all!).

Despite widespread labor shortages and people often being overworked and under stress, it was so refreshing to work with a professional print center who was so willing to step up and help an admitted one time customer who was in from out of town. You get top-quality services and customer care at this Goleta Store. Ted and Bill exemplify the very best Customer Service. They are knowledgeable about products, helpful and patient. They are hands-on…as managers they will still be the first to haul stuff to your car.. and then take it back if you change your mind! In addition, the store offers Passport ID photos and TSA applications. Ted told me they plan to expand such services. I am taking the time to write this Five-Star review because not only Ted and Bill, whose names I asked for so I could identify their outstanding service, but everyone working at the store whom I have encountered over the past month of furnishing a new home has been exceptional.
