Regarding birthday party: pActivities are always great. The party was terrible. I booked a room thinking that the party host would make the whole process smoother. I spoke to someone 2 days before and told them 15 kids. I arrived 15min early for set up, table was set for 10. Party host did not even come to the room until party time (11:30). I told her we needed extra spots and water at that time. She gave my kids a wrist band then told me to come find her every time another guest arrived. I asked her to stay as everyone would arrive soon, she apologized and said she could not. So over the next 30 min, as guests trickle in, I am running around trying to find her instead of socializing with our guests. I ended up asking a total of 5 times for water before she brought some. She never set up additional guest spots as I had asked but just brought a stack of white paper plates when she left the pizza on the edge of the table. As I served pizza she took icee orders. Kids were done with pizza by the time the icees came and she completely omitted the birthday boy. Another guest asked 3 times for an icee before it was received. I also asked for forks for cake several times and I missed a lot of my kid’s gift opening between cleaning up, passing out cake, and finding forks myself. At Uptown Jungle, the party host gets everyone settled, serves pizza, and helps with cake. This is the service that I anticipated. I did pay extra for this room & service but I am not really sure what I was paying for because it sure did not make for an easy party. The check out process was completely unclear as well and I had to figure that out at the end of my time allotment instead of seeing my guests off. In the end, the kids had a good time. I did not. I thought I was paying for an easy party mostly taken care of by the party host. Instead it was unorganized, not enough spots for my 15 guests, I felt like I was constantly looking for the party host for something, and I missed out on enjoying my son’s party, which was expensive. We will never do a...
Read moreAre you over 20 yrs old and bored of being able to walk without a limp. Well, head on over to Urban Air and jump with the kids on the trampolines. I'm an athletic guy and usually play around with the kids without incident. At Urban Air I was able to find my limit, and go passed it just enough to give myself a Grade 2 ankle sprain. Do you have a trip coming up and want to get through the airport quicker than usual. Head on over to Urban Air where you'll be able to earn the need to walk with crutches for a week, then a cane. In fact, Urban Air should sell a midlife package that includes an Ace Bandage wrap, a telescoping cane, and some Ibuprofen. My trip through two air ports was quicker than ever, they see you limping and walking with a cane, and the staff become super accommodating. I was able to board with the elderly and first class passengers. Of course, the sprain didn't happen until the very last part of our visit. We had played on all the available attractions, and I just had to try out the Mega Ultra roped-off-so-only-professionals-can-play special trampolines. This was my down fall. I was higher than I had ever gotten on a trampoline, got too close to the edge, and rolled my ankle under the edge. All the features and play areas are awesome at Urban Air. The skyrider was my grand-daughter's favorite. We were there early so she got several rides before it got busy. She also loved the warrior courses. I was able to beat her at the Wipeout cause I could jump over the high arm. This place is a must go-to. Get there early on weekends, by noon it's packed and difficult to get around. We ultimately decided to leave because we both almost got hit my other kids not paying attention, running across the trampoline play space. Even with my ankle injury, I had a blast. I'll definitely be back, with...
Read moreI’m writing this review as someone who used to be an extremely loyal customer to Urban Air Goodyear. My experience this past September, was absolutely awful and now I want to let everyone know about it. Do NOT go to Urban Air in Goodyear. If your child is kind and respectful and follows the posted rules, they will not get to enjoy any of the activities you paid for because there is no management here whatsoever. A group of boys literally broke every single rule that Urban Air has posted, including being in there without any adult supervision. They threw things and hit little girls in the face, on purpose, they cut in front of other kids in line to the point that kids were waiting in line for up to 40 minutes to ride a ride, but the same 4 boys rode the ride over and over again in a row, simply cutting the line and threatening any kids who spoke up. The employee notified the manager, who did absolutely nothing after being notified by employees, by other parents, and other kids!! Definitely don’t pay for your kids to do the activities because they won’t be able to. Also, don’t pay for the birthday party, because Urban Air will not provide the items they advertise and that you PAID for, but since you paid cash, they will just ignore you. I should have used my credit card and then I could have easily disputed the charge (because I did NOT receive what I paid for). Urban Air does not care about your children, their safety, their “fun experience”, or play as they advertise, and they definitely do not care about you as a consumer! Once they get your money, you’re on your own. After all that, the facility is also filthy now (it used to be clean), very run down, everyone has to share one remote for all the TVs in the private party rooms, and the food...
