120 bucks spent and no refund allowed ?! On a broken item ?! Diabolical Okay so when you buy something at goodwill apparently thereās a policy that you cant ask for cash on refund regardless of the amount which is understandable for like a 20 dollar item BUT for a 120.00 item a refuses to give us the money is absolutely insanely diabolical . Wife and I ask for a refund on a tv that was supposed to be working an told verbally by manager oh yeah the tv works an nothing is wrong with it an wouldnāt let us test it out due to no power cord an remote so we took it upon ourselves ādumb right ?ā By Iām trying to prove a point so follow me now .. so we went to test at home an we got crooked out of a 120 bucks . We came back the next day same time at 740 pm to ensure it was the same manager on duty He called his manager over the phone about how we wanted refund an all they said call corporate or hereās store credit thatās all we can do. Keep in mind folks The tv had blue screen lighting issues and turned off on its own no warning stickers of any sort like they would at any other goodwill would do if thereās a possibility it not working. Ya know the pink stinkers stating full disclosure bs But For a 120 bucks ?!?!!!!! With no sticker a told it was working ?!!! Like get real Just flat out disguised as a working item siting at the cash register as if it were was prized possession. So okay back to what I saying we had the manager on speaker an he just laughed literally laughed !! and said to call corporate. No remorse no apology nothing both the supervisor on the floor should be held accountable for such unacceptable behavior. He shouldāve never let a customer walk out without guarantee of an item working especially upon request This place is so unprofessional and does not care about their customers at all . Only about the check including the manager We want our refund and will never return again!! Something tells me this is not there first rodeo crooking a product out of someone at this store and thatās a reason why goodwill is slowly declining because of the abuse their...
Read moreI recently visited the Goodwill store located at Estrella Parkway with my fiancé, and our experience was extremely disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouths. From the moment we walked in, my fiancé was followed around by not one, but three security personnel. Their behavior was very obvious and intrusive, making it clear that they were suspicious of us for no reason. One of them, wearing a tie-dye shirt, even followed me at times.
We were simply browsing and had no intention of stealing or causing any trouble. Despite this, the security personnel's constant surveillance made us feel like criminals, which was both humiliating and frustrating. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and has left a very negative impression on us.
As someone who has previously worked at Savers, I am familiar with the job description and responsibilities of retail employees, including security personnel. We were trained to treat all customers with respect and not to make them feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Unfortunately, the staff at this Goodwill location failed to uphold these standards.
It was clear that we were being profiled based on our appearance, despite having done nothing wrong. We were planning to spend money there, but after this experience, we decided against it. We will not be returning to this location, and we will continue to write reviews to let others know how badly we were treated.
Goodwill is supposed to be a place where everyone can shop without feeling judged or harassed. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. We hope that management takes steps to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with respect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give this place a ZERO for customer service I definitely would! Mostly due to the young Manager running the store who lied straight to my face. I brought in a few returns from another store since I was out and about with my husband that day running errands. I waited in line for awhile and as she was scanning my articles of clothing she suddenly stopped and then proceeded to tell me that I can only return misc items to the store I bought it from. Are you kidding me?š” I was not going to drive 45 minutes to the store that I was no where near my planned destinations for the day or within the timeline I had to return them. I calmly accepted my card and went to find my husband who was looking around while he waited for me. He heard my side of things and asked to see the receipt and noticed they shorted me $20 for my returns. He then took over and asked for the manager who questioned him several times and took what seemed like forever to do simple math to conclude they shorted us $20. I will not return to this store until this manager no longer works here. I didn't appreciate the snouty attitude and lying to me. I just had to share my bad experience. Watch your...
