On October 3rd my husband and I purchased a recliner. At that time we had worked with Hunter. He knew of our situation and told us 2-3 weeks and it would be delivered. After a month we stopped in to see when our recliner would be delivered. Never got the gentleman's name that we spoke to but he didn't really seem to care. He said that it was at the warehouse and he knew it wouldn't be on the next truck. But if it wasn't on the one after that, THEN he would reach out to the warehouse and see why they haven't sent it. That would be an additional 2 weeks at minimum and we still wouldn't have the recliner. I called and the same guy we talked to in store said nope it wasn't on the truck and he would email the manager at the warehouse. I asked that when he got a response or update from the warehouse to please call us and let us know. My husband is having surgery and the recliner is needed. Yesterday 11/7 i was getting ready to call again, and Hunter called. He said that there was an issue at the warehouse and they didn't actually have one. So he said that he would give us the floor modle and refund some of our money due to the issues and the way no one had seemed to care or done anything to even try and get answers as to where this recliner was. Hunter was aware of our situation as he is the one who sold us the recliner in the first place. They wrapped the recliner in plastic for us as well since is was raining. He refunded us a portion of our money and made sure to make things right. He knew my husband is a disabled veteran and made sure to treat us right. I HIGHLY recommend working with Hunter. Read moreThe Manager was handling the floor today. Excellent service provided. I had already narrowed my choices to 2 one being replacing what I already have but newer model. Had already visited the store of one, and stopped in at Denver Mattress to try the one I had not yet seen in person. He asked direct questions about sleeping style, position, toss/turn, quality of sleep. Showed me the variations of the Purple I was interested in. Tried the options. He provided personal experience and feedback on his trial of the various models. In and out in a short time frame. Will definitely recommend Denver Mattress to anyone looking. Now to wait patiently for delivery. Only suggestion is maybe take a look at delivery distance and cost. Us folks up in the sandhills have no great options for furniture, appliances etc. Would definitely be a good marketing opportunity to save a bit on delivery especially for customers who can't/don't do assembly and heavier lifting.
