Eclectic — Attraction in Grand Junction

Have come in twice and been extremely disappointed in service and selection. The first time I went in I was looking for MTG starter or commander decks, was strongly advised to purchase another card trading game instead and then ignored when I said I wasn't looking for Lorcana. Decided maybe it was an off day and went in a 2nd time to ask about purchasing MTG land cards, was advised I could "dig through for what I could find at $0.30 a card", which I might have done if not for the fact that the clerk was not clear on what box nor willing to show us what box he had waved to that we would look through. Then he started chatting with another clerk about raising prices on single cards in the case as "they were underpriced". When I asked if we could purchase a box of just land cards he said he would have to sell us a "around 5000 count box", of randoms that would be $500.... we left after that. Maybe we just had two bad experiences but at this time I would not...

Great customer service! Ashur was very helpful explaining different values of certain Pokémon cards while also multi-tasking and helping his regulars out at the same time! I sold A LOT of Pokémon cards that I had as a collection since a kid and we were able to come to an agreement on pricing for all of them. I see this as a win win for the both of us as I was in need of some extra money knowing I could of took my time and most likely made more selling them individually online which was explained to me. I look foreword to stopping in again one day in the future and chatting with Ashur again to see how his business is doing and seeing what outcomes transpired from the deal we established. It felt good to support small-business and although I’ll miss my Pokémon cards, I know it will bring others happiness and generate more revenue for this awesome small-business. Owner/Manager is very chill and fun to talk with. Other employees are very much the same. HUGE selection of Pokemon and other TCG’s/MPG and a small selection of sports cards. With all that said they do accept trades most of the time as long as you have high end cards but they will not trade at an equal value, you always take the hit and will get lesser value. But if you have something you don’t really want to keep that is a great tool take advantage of with them. They also do customer rewards that you build up with every purchase no matter what it is and that is SUPER cool to have free cash building up every time you buy something.
