This review is simply for the Dog Owners who take their pets to this park and are negligent in their supervision. The park itself is great: spacious, convenient and clean. The first time, my 11-month old Rottweiler, who is sweet as pie, was entering the large dog park and this dog approached and would not leave him alone. I kept my dog leashed until he got comfy and this dog continued following us. And finally, he started growling and jumped on my dog. I finally had to holler "Who's dog is this? He's attacking my dog!" And the owner finally got up from the bench and grabbed his dog; he held him for the remainder of their visit.
Friday was the final straw!! This was the 2nd time he was attacked. A guy brought his 2 dogs in, (Pit/Husky mix, he said) and they were playing around and very energetic. As soon as I decided to leave with my dog, they came over and got really rowdy and aggressive with him. Biting, growling and unfortunately dominated him; he couldn't defend himself. And as much as I wanted to jump in, I couldn't prevent 2 dogs from interacting with him in that manner. And the owner stood by and let them get so aggressive. Eventually they calmed down and his exact words to my dog were, "I'm sorry they jumped you, buddy!"
My dog had been in the large yard for at least 30 minutes and had been playing with other dogs perfectly fine, until these 2 came in.
Won't be visiting this park from here on out. And if you do, keep your...

Took Moose and Ingrid to the two large dog off-leash sites this morning, and they had a blast. Central Bark is located right by the Animal Shelter, which is easy to reach off Warrior Trail. Parking is free; just avoid the bus-only spaces and you’re golden 🅿️
The park has three fenced-in areas to keep play sorted: two for large dogs, one for small. Each unit has double gates, plenty of benches, and dog-level water fountains, so no need to lug in bottles or bowls💧
The ground is a mix of grass, turf, and pea gravel — all easy on the paws. Each pen contains a few amenities, such as (i) agility ramps, (ii) tunnels, and (iii) large rocks. Doggie waste stations are in each area too, which is helpful since I left mine at home. Would recommend bringing your dog’s favorite ball or play toy, though there’s a few spares laying around 🎾
Crowd was super friendly too. I met a sweet, older lady with an Australian shepherd who pulled up on her bright-yellow mobility scooter (aka “hot rod”) 🛵
Overall, Central Park is a solid 5 stars. Clean runs, plenty of space, and thoughtful details for humans and animals.

Read moreThe parking is nice and lit up which is nice now that the weather is getting warmer so dogs are taken out a little later. It took a few minutes to figure out which gates went where. Apparently there's 3 fenced area and only the large dog one is connected through the back. The area is nice with places to sit and walk for owners. The water fountains do work. The walking from the parking lot to the entrance is nice and provides "rules" for safety. It's a nice park with nice people but we ran into a couple of people who don't have spayed/neutered dogs which is a little alarming. Their dog was old enough to be spayed/neutered but ya know. It is their choice and their animals but just putting it here as a precaution that they did get defensive and aggressive towards multiple dogs. **Most parks don't allow dogs over the age of 6 months to be in a dog park without being spayed/neutered to avoid territorial/aggressive behavior...they'll usually allow it if the dog remains on a leash the entire time but ya know, to each their own.. again just a precaution to check for that. My dog isn't one to be afraid of dogs and knows no stranger but he was one of the...
