This place was incredible! Everything about my wife and I’s visit was perfect. The service was amazing. Our server knew everything about every item and made all the right suggestions. The friendliness of every employee was more than you could ask for. The vibe was laid-back and perfect. The drinks were delicious. Oh yeah, the food. Look… if I could dine here daily, I’d do it. We started with the focaccia, and let me tell you, it was to die for. The Prosciutto Di Parma was next, and my goodness, it was so good. I got the Chicken Parmesan, and my wife got the bolognese. Both were amazing! The grilled asparagus was delicious, but the carrots were an absolute must. If you go here and don’t get the carrots, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice, I promise you. For dessert, we got the tiramisu, which was to delicious. And……The staff gifted us the olive oil cake! Two bites into the cake, and my wife (who bakes frequently) was already looking for recipes. Another item you absolutely have to have when you visit this place. Overall, if you’re looking at reviews to decide whether you should visit this place, the answer is a resounding yes! The open kitchen concept is awesome! Chef Tiffany (who’s quite famous if you have been living under a rock for the last few years) even waved at my wife from the kitchen, and she almost died! Chef and her business partner/co-owner also came out and talked to multiple guests, including my wife and me, which was awesome. If you’re reading this, you have to try this place! Today! Read moreWe tried Radici this past weekend, and we were impressed. The ambiance is excellent. Clean, open, and bustling but not in a noisy way. The service was superb. Our server recommended getting multiple things and sharing - there were 4 of us. We went with her recommendation.
For appetizers we got: Focaccia, Pepperoni Salad, and Polpette. The polpette was exceptional. Best meatball I have ever had. We then got two pastas for the table: Lasagna Bianca and Bolognese. Both had great flavor. Bolognese was exceptional. The Lasagna was on the colder side; I would have liked it to be hotter. We then shared an entree of Chicken Parmesan, which was incredible, and a side of the Carote Grigliate. The carrots, while they tasted great, were cold and slightly undercooked. My husband and I shared a tiramisu, and our friends got the pistachio olive oil cake to share. Additional Plus - they had mocktails & a great cocktail offering.
Overall, we really loved the meal and the restaurant. I gave it a 4 b/c I would have liked the food to be warmer.
Side bar, Chef Tiffany WAS in-house and that...
Read moreA recent TikTok review led me to Radici Wood Fired Grill in Grand Prairie, and I'm happy to report that this spot is worth the hype. While some flavors required a slight palate adjustment, the overall experience was memorable.
I kicked things off with the Fried Squash Blossom, featuring mozzarella, anchovy, basil, and hot honey. The basil and hot honey were a dynamic duo, though the anchovy was a no-show. Despite its elusive nature, this starter was still a delightful way to begin the meal.
Skipping the tempting pasta options, I took my server's excellent recommendation and went for the Braciole Di Maiale Alla Brace. This dish showcased a succulent Kurobuta pork chop, perfectly complemented by balsamic.
However, the grilled radicchio was a bit of a miss for me. While I appreciate its natural bitterness, it lacked the seasoning needed to balance it out, and it seemed a touch overcooked.
Even with a minor misstep, the stellar service and overall quality of the dishes have me eager to return. Next time, I'll be exploring more of...
