Booked for a last minute night away. Have stayed at many Hilton properties in the past but never a Homewood Suites. It was brand new and highly impressive. Any ‘negatives’ would not be enough to stop us from staying again. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Pillows were great. Full kitchen (but fridge isn’t full size with full size freezer like Home2Suites - would be a possible issue for longer term stays) with anything you’d need. Designers chose the annoying sliding barn style doors for the bathrooms, and they do not close all the way because they bump into the baseboards, so privacy isn’t as one may hope. Full size pump bottles for shower and bathroom. Gym was a bit lacking for size of combined hotel property. Pool looks nice but wasn’t open. Breakfast room was nice and bright and you need a key to enter. Decent breakfast selection - fairly typical for free Hilton breakfast. Fruit other than apples would have been appreciated. Coffee was good and replenished. Area is perfect to walk to a few restaurants. Can drive to anything else within short distance. We got the last spot in the parking garage and there were no spaces in the surface lot, so parking may be an issue on busy evenings like this. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant or laundry.

I’ve stayed about 30 nights in total here over multiple stays. Below are my thoughts Great location. Several restaurants/stores in a 5-10 minute drive. Also close to the highway. Rooms: The rooms are great, modern and nice looking. The hard floors are nice and the kitchen appliances are high quality. However, the shower can be better. In the larger suites, the hand soap is placed far from the sink which doesn’t make sense. Breakfast is the average homewood/hilton free breakfast you expect anywhere in the US, nothing crazy. Parking is annoying since the spots are shared between the hotels, the lake and the restaurants in the vicinity. I wish there was a gated area where only hotel guests can park and have guaranteed spots. Small thing but elevator buttons were really hard to press, one morning I found a few people waiting for the elevator to realize the button wasn’t even pressed, it required a lot of force to turn red and register the click. As mentioned, not a big deal, but thought it’s worth mentioning. Staff were nice and friendly. The robot is a nice addition to bring towels or toiletries in a fun unusual way. Overall a good place to stay. Definitely among my top choices in the DFW area.

Came to Dallas to visit TD Jakes church and go to Epic Waters. Choose this hotel because it was 15 mins from the church and around the corner from the water park. Can actually walk there. This hotel was amazing! Close to a lot of stuff. Felt like I really didn’t need to leave the area. Room- Had the 2 queen bed room and it had a full kitchen. Pots, pans, plates etc were all included! Our room was ready around 1. Perfect because we drove from Houston and wanted to unpack the car. Guy at the front desk was very professional and welcoming. Wish I remembered his name. Breakfast was included and was actually pretty good. Room was spacious and very clean. No complaints. Area- Waterpark, park and restaurants in walking proximity. At night I walked down by the restaurants and say they had a light show in the water. Do it every night. It was really cool. Walked around the Epic Center and it was nice. I am definitely coming back to Dallas and will be staying here again. One of the nicest hotels I’ve enjoyed staying at for awhile. Definitely will recommend them

WARNING: THIS IS A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL! We weren't aware of this when we booked and we might as well have been staying in a dog kennel. Dogs were barking all day and night. Staff were apologetic but ultimately didn't do a thing to remedy the situation. Guests were playing fetch with their dogs up and down the hall at 11pm. Someone walking with their freaked out cat yowling it's head off up and down the hall around midnight. Dogs freaked out by cleaning staff were barking all afternoon and made it difficult for my toddler to nap. Then our neighbors next door left their TV on full blast for their dog and took off around midnight to go clubbing. Their TV shared a wall with the room our kids were trying to sleep in and it was so loud we could clearly make out the dialogue from our side. Hotel staff tried to get in touch with these neighbors but couldn't reach anyone. So we all crammed into the one bedroom which completely negated the purpose of booking a suite. I expressed this to the staff member checking us out and she seemed sympathetic and apologized, but that was it. I felt like we should have been partially refunded for our stay, at least the amount it would have cost to stay in a regular room versus the suite we paid for. The suite itself was okay, not great. Being a pet friendly hotel, the floors are predictably filthy. Our socks were a dark grey/brown after just 10 mins of walking around in our room. The cleaning staff liberally spray Febreze in the room before they leave to cover the dog smell, and that smell lingered until late the next day it was so overwhelming. Check in was at 3pm but our room wasn't ready until 4:30pm. Also, they boast being within walking distance of Epic Waters but if you're visiting during the brutal Texas summer heat then forget it, you may as well drive. We attempted the walk and quickly regretted it. It's long and there's zero shade. If you're in the area and are traveling with the pet, this place is for you! If you're a young family traveling with little ones, stay away. Stay...

What did I like? Well, pull up a chair because the list is LONG! First off, let’s talk about the front desk staff they are absolutely incredible! Huge shoutout to Mekayla, Tyra, Arhya, and Dallas when I say they were AMAZING, I mean it! From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with friendly, helpful faces who went out of their way to assist with everything. I especially loved the texting service they offer! I could easily check in, ask questions, and they always responded quickly and kindly. Arhya checked us in and was beyond helpful my kids adored her! Mekayla, Arhya, and Dallas were fantastic throughout our stay, checking in on us via text and making sure we had everything we needed. Tyra was an absolute delight on our last day, answering all my questions and helping during checkout. The staff alone is top-tier truly one of the best parts of our stay! Now, let’s talk about the room oh my goodness! You will NOT be disappointed. It’s truly a home away from home. If you’re looking for a spacious, beautiful place to relax, this is it! The kitchen area blew me away imagine sitting at the dining table for a meal or snack, using the stove to whip up something quick, loading the dishwasher after, and storing leftovers in the fridge. They thought of everything! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud so clean, so fresh, and incredibly comfortable. And as if that wasn’t enough, the pool, walking area, water show, and nearby restaurants were all an added bonus. When I say I will be back I mean it! I’m already looking at dates for my next stay. This gem is truly a home away from home. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing place with an amazing staff that will take care of you and your family this is your place! Remember these names: Mekayla, Tyra, Arhya, and Dallas. They will make sure you’re well taken care of. Don’t wait go book...

We stayed for a little over two weeks. The staff and service was great!

The quality of the suite room was a whole different story.

There’s no dedicated hotel parking. That’s a huge issue! It’s a big problem considering everything in that EPIC area is sharing all of that parking.

The driveway paths are tight and people go the wrong way all the time.

Going in and out of the garage down below can be dangerous because you can’t see very well when coming up the ramp

The robots are cute ideas but often fail.

The floor in our room was uneven in various spots.

The dishwasher doesn’t wash well at all

They have combo washer/dryers that take 2.5 hours for one load (that’s on the quick setting).

The cushions on the couch are cheap and awful.

The mattresses on the beds are awful and we had one mattress with very uneven sides.

They use sliding doors for the bathroom area. It’s a horrible idea. You can see when someone showers and play music when you use the restroom because if not, everyone will hear your business.

The dress drawers in the large storage cabinet weren’t closing all the way.

Equipment was damaged or not fully working in the gym.

Breakfast was there but was the same every day. It’s pretty limiting.

They have a mini store but it’s very overpriced.

Keep in mind, this was just built in January and is connected to a convention center so to have this many issues 10 months out tells you how much they rushed...
