I am thrilled to share my positive review of The Barre Code in Grand Rapids! This studio is truly an exceptional place to achieve your fitness goals and feel great doing it.
One of the things I love most about The Barre Code is their philosophy of "nothing to lose and everything to gain." It's an inspiring and motivating approach that encourages you to push yourself to new limits and reach your full potential. It's refreshing to be in an environment where you're encouraged to take risks and strive for your personal best.
Another thing I love about The Barre Code is how welcoming and inclusive they are. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with open arms and a friendly smile. The instructors are all incredibly supportive and motivating, and they create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and valued. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out on your fitness journey, you'll find a community of like-minded individuals who are there to cheer you on and help you succeed.
But perhaps my favorite thing about The Barre Code is the variety of different workouts they offer. From barre classes to cardio kickboxing, there is something for everyone at this studio. Each class is carefully designed to challenge you both physically and mentally, and the instructors are always mixing things up to keep it fresh and exciting. Whether you're looking to build strength, increase flexibility, or just get a great workout, The Barre Code has you covered.
Overall, I cannot recommend The Barre Code in Grand Rapids enough. The positive and supportive atmosphere, the variety of classes, and the "nothing to lose, everything to gain" philosophy make it a truly special place to work out. Give it a try – you won't be...
Read moreMy 17 year old daughter signed up on her own for classes with The Barre Code. Typically, I would chock this up to a learned lesson, but I agree that there was confusion in regard to the pricing on the website. She signed up for the $129 Annual Membership. She assumed that it meant it was $129 for the year and nothing monthly. Even though, an experienced consumer would maybe not have made that mistake, I do think the wording is misleading. The pricing states $129 Annual Membership - Grand Rapids (12-month commitment). Then states $129 - Unlimited Per Month. The unlimited per month is referencing the number of classes per month you are able to attend, as another option says 8 per month for example. All Membership options say Monthly Membership in the title, except the Annual Membership that she chose. Also, she said she had no idea that there was a no show fee if she missed a class. She was charged $20 for that, and now another $129 for this month. She is told that she has to pay $200 to cancel now as well. I can't find any forms on her online account or her email, to verify what she signed. Also, the front desk clerks only allow communication through email so it's hard to get answers quickly. While I find my daughter at fault for signing up for this without consulting her parents, I am frustrated that The Barre Code chose such poor wording for the membership options, I'm also frustrated that they, or any company, would allow a 17 year old to enter in to such an expensive contract with so many restrictions without parental consent. I just want everyone to be aware of what they (or their kids) may be...
