Updated 06/09/23: Went in for a Vollure refresh but rescheduled to a date later in the year as the prior treatment has lasted. Lips are still plump and looking good! Updated 12/9/22: Today’s procedure was quick, swelling’s decreasing rapidly, no visible bruising one hour later. 👍

I got a consultation for lip filler at Face Forward Aesthetics after seeing a really great Groupon deal. I’d never gotten lip fillers before and Nicole Talley, APRN, CNP took time to tell me about the products they offer, the procedures and risks involved, and to let me know which product I’d be a good candidate for. As I was looking for a product that would subtly enhance my appearance rather than making a dramatic change, Vollure was the product chosen. Her work was careful and competent, she let me know what to expect in regard to healing and answered all my questions. I’m writing this an hour after the procedure, as the anesthetic is wearing off and I have no pain to speak of. No migration of filler or lumps and I feel confident I’ll be ready for an event I’ll be attending soon. In regard to this company’s Diamond Membership program, joining it was less than the cost of the product without joining the membership and it allowed for today’s injection to be free of charge (which I’m told lasts for a very long time but if I want to touch it up in nine months or so that injection will now be at the member price). The membership auto cancels after a year rather than auto renewing which I thought was very helpful if I were to decide to discontinue treatments. I also signed up for an app called Allē which offers discounts and promotions if I choose any of the products available in that app. As I’m looking in the mirror now, I can say I couldn’t be happier about choosing Face...

I have been hesitant to leave a review, because often the business takes it personal instead of seriously. However, I enjoy going here.. mostly. I enjoy what a good deal the annual membership is and I think the injector does a good job. But I want to be very honest in hopes that something will change. The staff isn't the friendliest and it makes it uncomfortable. Most specifically, the pretty petite Asian nurse (I only say Asian as I want the business to know exactly who it is, no other reason. I am Arab, so I also am from the continent of Asia)... she is cold and unkind. The reason this is important is because women feel vulnerable when we come to places like this. It's absolutely horrible coming to a place where the people helping don't have a smile and soft demeanor. I don't feel like I can ask questions because she sounds annoyed. She talks in a pretentious way and feels very judgemental. I was worried it was just me until I was in a Columbus Aesthetics FB group and someone else mentioned it - specifically to this location - before I did!! I am not the type of person to take things too personally. If you look at my past reviews on here they aren't malicious and mean. I am giving honest and genuine feedback that I hope this business takes seriously. It's good all around, but very sincerely, the unwelcoming and unfriendly attitude of this woman is enough to make me completely avoid going here - others too. Everything else was great, thank you. Went to Dublin Rd location. Same tech Nicole that had seen me before and I had issues with before refused to give me my already paid for Juvederm in my lips. I hadn’t had lip filler in over a year and my lips were so thin. I only go once a year for lip filler. We bickered for 10-15 minutes and she still refused. To compromise I agreed to let her use a little in my lips and the rest in my smile lines. Even though I’ve never had filler anywhere other than lips. She even suggested I have some juvederm put in my cheekbone area. I already have extremely high natural cheekbones!! A plastic surgeon asked me a year ago if I had cheek implants. I told him no they’re my REAL cheekbones. This tech will ruin your face if you let her boss you around like she wants to. Maybe that’s her goal? She even suggested I have any of my lip filler dissolved first then start over. I laughed at her and told her I’ve never once had this issue with any plastic surgeon or tech I’ve seen for fillers. She wouldn’t budge and refused to put the full vile in my lips. Even though it had been a year and my lips were soft and had lost majority of the filler. She was a young blonde. Extremely unprofessional and has NO IDEA what she’s doing. I will NEVER go to this location again. I’ve not had any issues with other locations, but please stay clear of this injector. She seriously needs to listen to her customers instead of fighting with them in order to make more money off them by her suggestions that’s not what the client wants. She’s rude and out of line.
