I visited the store after having difficulties with my service from a different big name provider and was absolutely frustrated with being in advertised coverage area but not being able to use my data and constantly not being able to complete calls with the intention of purchasing an inexpensive phone and getting prepaid service. Miss Erica greeted me warmly when I walked in and headed right over to me as I was looking at the display phones. She introduced herself and shook my hand very professionally but friendly at the same time and asked how my day was going. I told her not very well because I was having coverage issues in most of the north end of town. She then asked me if i ever had US Cellular service before and I replied with a negative at which time she asked if she could get my info and see if I qualified for a zero down monthly installment account. I informed her that I had not so good credit and I probably wouldn't qualify.. She reassured me by checking that it wouldn't negatively impact my credit so I agreed and to my surprise I qualified. She then told me about a deal going on and some incentives and I was able to get the Galaxy S8 at a phenomenally low price with a nice case and glass screen protector and the same service plan as my other provider only cheaper and no activation fees! I absolutely love this phone and the service is awesome.. it's full bars almost everywhere.. I am so happy that I went into the store and spoke with Miss Erica, she was so knowledgeable and knew to ask all the right questions to figure out what handset would fit my needs best and service to match and how to get the extras I wanted at no cost.. AMAZING!!! I wish I had checked out U.S. Cellular before I went with my other provider. I strongly encourage anyone shopping for cell service to at least go in and compare them to the other service they are considering and furthermore I would encourage anyone to switch to U.S. Cellular if they want great coverage at competitive rates. Thank you Miss Erica and U.S. Cellular, y'all are the...
Read moreI've been a customer of US cellular, for 18 years. I have completely stopped, going to the main branch, on Grants Pass avenue. A few of the staff members, are not very friendly and have been very unprofessional. The 6th street branch, is wonderful!!! Chris and Desiree, on 6th, in Grants Pass, OR, are so great, at their job! They are very knowledgeable and professional. They have helped me, with my android phone, many times. I'm a firefighter and tend to, break my phone, every so often. The screens, are usually mostly black. Chris is patient and gets the phone, to transfer everything. Chris is the gentleman, I bring my phone too. If I upgrade, he always answers my questions, About the new features. If there is something that I find, That I do not understand, once I get home, Chris walks me through it on the phone. My cousin Jim, also goes to the 6th street branch, for the same reasons I do. It's a pleasure with Chris, not a...
Read moreNo you don't get any stars, although the only way I could post was to give you one. Very disappointed with the quality of this stores personnel. Even Verizon said that they will validate the extorted $$ to turn on a telephone, to tell me that I removed a sim card from. Fact is this very store sold me the phone without a sim, The LARGE blonde girl at the counter professed not once but 3x that I was essentially lying, and in fact removed the sim . Wait for it!! I am taking this phone to a tech, with a brain, and he will prove that this phone was never operated with a sim, and my current# which I have had since 2006. Yes she was most likely struggling with high school. Oh yes and after calling me a liar, IT proposed that I was the disrespectful one. I did report this store to U.S.C. they actually said that this is not the first complaint about this girl. If I were corporate U.S.C. I'd have her fired, and audit the franchise....
