I'm not sure where to begin, but I just want to empathize how our visit was not a very welcoming one. When we first walked in, we noticed the display cases to the immediate right. I love vintage jewelry, and there were two pieces that caught my eye. I inquired, and the female employee obliged and opened the cases. I was shown the two pieces, and that was the extent of it. I asked a few questions about them, and that's when the ignorance began. I could feel the unwanted vibe. I thanked her for her time and moved on through the store. Now, as we checked out, I again inquired about the ring. I asked if there was not a way for me to get in touch with the seller. She just stood there looking at me, all while the guy checking out next to us asked the older guy to call the seller because he wanted a discounted price. That was the moment we realized this lady just did not want to help us. However, after I asked if I could leave my name and number, is when she handed me a piece of paper. I left my info, and she said, "The next time I see her, I'll give her your info".. thanks, but no thanks. Also, thanks for not wrapping my metal clock. If you felt the need to ask if I wanted my stuff wrapped, then no thanks. You wrapped the customer's stuff before us, but I guess my stuff wasn't worth your time. I get it. We are the wrong beige to receive...
Read moreWe were the ONLY black people in the mall which this is Texas so that doesnt bother me and although there were really cool items and we planned to buy they had an associate a lady follow us around the store the entire time as if we didn’t see her. We were wanting to buy some tea cups for our baby shower as well as some insulator covers. We were very polite to everyone in the store and so I’m not sure why we were treated that way.We had them holding them at the counter for us. But the lady at the counter was also so stand offish with us and SUPER friendly with everyone else that we just walked out. My husband and I are actually really into resale of antiques as well as estate sales and are very immersed in the community. It’s really unfortunate that we were treated like this. We were the couple with locs in our hair. We are not thief’s and don’t appreciate being treated as such it’s 2019 for goodness sake. Shame...
Read moreI brought a box of collectibles toys in and an antique pull toy horse in to see if anyone of the dealers might want to take a look at them to buy and resell. 3/6/2025 . The lady at the desk said no dealers were here and offered my number incase one of the dealers may like to call me back. She said she wouldn’t take my number and she doesn’t do that. She was very curt and rude. I can’t imagine trying to be a dealer in this store and pay for booth space when people at the desk are so rude. I have lived in grapevine for over 30 years and have bought several things at this mall. I used to sell antiques with my spouse. It’s very disheartening to encounter people that obviously don’t want to do what their business is or to help the dealers that...
