I am utterly disappointed by the abysmal service I received from this Bank of America branch. Despite my urgent need for a wire transfer to close on a house, they callously refused to initiate it, leaving me in a lurch. The incompetence of the manager, who flat out refused to initiate a wire transfer despite me having two additional forms of identification, only exacerbated the situation.
Bank of America's refusal to accommodate a basic banking service reflects their utter disregard for customer satisfaction. It is unconscionable that a financial institution of their stature would fail so miserably in fulfilling their obligations to their clients.
Furthermore, the manager's lack of accountability is appalling. Instead of rectifying the situation; giving me and my situation the benefit of the doubt, and using the tools and adequate information at their disposal to help me to access my money, they chose to deflect blame and shirk their responsibilities. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the lack of leadership at this branch.
I told the staff in Southlake that I would instead go to the Colleyville branch to initiate my wire transfer, and wouldn't you know it? The Colleyville branch initiated the wire within 20 minutes with the exact same information I presented to the Southlake branch. They printed my confirmation, and wished me a good afternoon. I told them of my experience at the Southlake branch, and they verified that the Southlake branch is the worst branch in DFW.
I strongly advise anyone considering banking with Bank of America to think twice. Their negligent and irresponsible behavior is a clear indication that they prioritize profit over customer service. Save yourself the hassle and seek out a bank that values its customers and strives for excellence in all aspects of its operations.
I'm appalled. Do not give your business to the...
Read moreI’ve been with BOA for atleast 15 years and never had any issues with maintenance fees. Since I have gone through a career shift this year I was earning less than usually for a couple of months and began getting charged maintenance fees for a couple of months. I scheduled an appt with Kendra at this location and she explained that she would take care of it and reimburse me for those charges. She stated no other maintenance fees should be charged and to contact the bank again if I see any charges. I was charged another maintenance fee again end of September. Met with another lady who couldn’t seem to figure out what the reason for the charge was, since I’ve started receiving the minimum amount of direct deposit into my acct from my job which should have prevented the maintenance fee. She called her manager and after reviewing my account for a while she informed me that it’s a charge from August and she refused to help me. I guess Kendra who helped me before and told me I would not have to pay anymore maintenance fees lied to me. If this is how you treat your customers that have been with you for this long, and have different employees tell your customers different things, it’s not worth it anymore. I don’t waste time with people like this. I’m looking now to do my personal banking with another bank where I have my business account since BOA doesn’t want to take accountability for being dishonest and don’t care about losing long...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would! The banker I tried to get help from was very rude and did not help me with my issue. I even set up an appointment and was told to just head in. I was the first one there and when I tried to explain to him what I needed help with he would not let me explain! I ended up on the phone with the fraud department which I knew I didn’t need! After speaking with her ( who was great) she said The banker could have done this right away. All I needed to do was cancel my current card and get a temporary one. Once I was off the phone with her I tried to get his attention to let him know I just need a temporary card now and I can activate it with the tellers, he cuts me off and says 30-45 minutes! I said excuse me but what do you mean I have been here and I told you I was on my lunch break and I don’t get off until after y’all close! He raises his voice and still said 30-45minutes! I left and told him he was rude! They are horrible and do not care about their customers! Take your business elsewhere. The BOA in Keller is very nice, helpful and caring. Do not waste your time here they will...
