Private dog park! Be forewarned!
You need to complete the application process to even get a key to have access to this dog park.
I had already driven to this dog park so we hopped the fence and let the dog run around. There is a small tube the dog can run through I suppose if you're training them for a dog show. Other than that there wasn't a thing in the dog park other than nicely kept grass. No toys, not even a lone tree. And the fact that the park was exclusive certainly made the grass nice but my favorite part of dog parks is other dogs, that way you don't have to do the work of exercising your dog other dogs can do it. All you'll have to do is throw a ball or two and the pack of dogs will do the rest...
Read moreI have had numerous dogs. Don't have one now but use the walking path past this place often. I also believe I read dog park it is for Greentree resident use. Overall a nice, clean, fully fenced in dog park. It's never super crowded either, 2 or 3 dogs at one time is busy. If I had a dog and had access I would use often. Some dog owners feel the same way. I see the same dogs and owners in park often. Have said in my overall park review, location is a pretty safe for all and is a generally nice area. Dog Park is a nice size but not super large. Size is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Other than that...
Read moreAs others have said, don't go here unless you are a resident of Green Tree. The door only opens via electric lock. And even if you do get a permit, certain breeds such as pitbulls aren't allowed in. Seems needlessly exclusive for a dog park.
All in all, this "park" is a place designed by yuppies, for yuppies - the lower classes need not attend. Go to Lawrenceville or Schenly Park instead where your dog will actually...
