After taking 5+ minutes to seat us in a nearly empty restaurant, I was worried the service would be just as poor. At the time of our arrival around 3:30, there were approximately 3-5 hostesses standing at the front. A male was handling a phone call and following the call, hung up the phone and began complaining within earshot of other customers about the call. While he was appropriate on the phone, it was discouraging to hear the staff member complain while waiting for our table.
Our server Peyton was wonderful! They were extra attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while dining with a 11 month old. When serving food/drinks, Peyton ensured foods were placed out of reach of my son’s sticky baby fingers. Additionally, Peyton gave us extra time and checked in with us before bringing out our mains to make sure us and the baby were ready. They even asked if there was anything they could do for the baby, including picking his toys up off the floor for me!
Regarding the atmosphere, the highchair was sticky so thankfully I had sanitizing wipes and a cover. Additionally, the bathroom doors felt sticky when opening/closing. The baby changing station in the bathroom is dated but functional. There was some discoloration and dirt/crumbs at and around the hinges/base of the unit. Again, thankful I had both sanitizing wipes and a mat to lay my son on.
As I was leaving the restaurant, I was not acknowledged nor thanked for dining. Considering the hostess stand was full of staff just chatting, I was disappointed. So I was not surprised when I exited, that the staff were too busy chatting to offer to get the door as my hands were full. The staff did not leave the hostess stand to provide assistance until they witnessed me hold the door open, with my hands full, for a gentleman walking with a cane. Staff opened the second set of doors and welcomed the gentleman .
TLDR: food was served hot, as expected/prepared on menu, dining service with Peyton was great, hostess staff need social skills training. Bathrooms are clean but changing station could use a deep clean/wipe down...
Read moreI've always had good experiences even when there were mistakes. This time was very different. I called to inform the restaurant that my order was incorrect. Essentially, Brandon told me that his team said that it was correct. I told him that I would show him the error. When I arrived to the restaurant, Brandon continued to tell me that he believed his team even as I showed him the error in front of his eyes. Under special requests, I said that I didn't want bacon or red sauce. He said that I should have written it under guest name. He said that his team members said there was no red sauce and alfredo was used (so there would be no bacon). He would not admit that there was bacon or red sauce on my food and continued to tell me that he believed his team, not to disturb the other guests, and he wanted to give me a refund so that I could go. I asked Brandon what he meant by saying that he believed his team members. He said that he would not explain himself to me. He would not say that I lied but was pretty much saying that I was lying although the food was right in front of him. I asked the other workers if they saw the bacon on the food and none of them admitted to seeing it. One told me it was above her pay grade. I asked to speak with another manager. Bob, the other manager, saw the bacon and red sauce. He was so kind and patient. Brandon was so rude and disrespectful. Brandon brought me a new order of food but his prior behavior would not allow me to trust him, so I did not take it. I was so upset that I was crying because my words were thought to be untrue even with clear evidence in front of the employees. I was just in disbelief and frustrated that something like this was happening. Fortunately, Bob, the other manager heard me and actually looked at the food. I appreciate Bob's hospitality and care for people. If I could give many negative stars for Brandon, Bob is the reason that those negative stars turned into one...
Read moreExperienced the worst customer service in my life tonight. Let me just start by saying I FOUND A HUMAN HAIR IN MY FOOD. Before this happened the waitress took extremely long to get our drinks, did not remove plates as we finished up with them and the plates were in our way, and never came to check on how our food was. After two bites of my food I found a blonde human hair in my food (my hair is brown). I told the waitress and she replied “ewwww that is disgusting.” She then took my plate away and when she returned she did not even ask if I wanted my meal to be re-made. She said it would be taken off the bill and I then asked her to have my meal re made as a to go order. I then ordered a cheesecake as I was not able to eat a meal while I was there. She brought out the cheesecake and my to go replacement meal. The manager then came over and said “I just wanted to come over and acknowledge what happened with your meal.” That is all he said and then walked away without an apology and did not state how he was going to personally fix the issue. We opened our check on the kiosk and found that everything was still on the check and nothing was taken off. We told the waitress and she said she would take care of it and printed off a physical copy of the check for us. We then saw the charge for my meal was still on there and told her. She stated that since I ordered a to go meal (a replacement meal for the one I found a hair in) that I was being charged for it as a to go meal. I told her I would not be paying for it because it should have been taken off and I then asked to speak to a manager. When he came over we asked him to take the charge off and I tried to explain why I would not be paying for it. He cut me off as I spoke and then finally took it off the check. Absolute worst customer service and the manager did not apologize for the fact that I found a HUMAN HAIR in my meal. Absolutely disgusted and will...
