When I went to the counter to place my order, the employee, Jarod, did not greet me. He was looking down, leaning on the cash register and touching his face and forehead... feeling for and then picking and squeezing pimples on his forehead. IT WAS DISGUSTING! He had long dreadlocks dangling with no hairnet. I wanted to walk out but decided to place my order. Jarod started the order then stepped away. Another employee processed the transaction. It took four attempts before the credit card was accepted. Fortunately Jarod did put gloves on before he made my food. Once the food was ready he looked at me and handed it over the counter. I had to ask for the potato chips that came with the sandwich. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten them. All the tables I checked were dirty and there were no napkins at the counter. I found some at the coffee table. I wiped off a table and ate my food. The sandwich was good but very skimpy on the turkey. I thought it was overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this store and I doubt I will return. I was very disappointed in the staff and the lack of maintenance in the store. After this review originally posted, I was contacted by the company with an apology and some vouchers to use in the future. I haven't been back to this location but my experience at a different location was much...
Read moreI recently visited Einstein Bros. Bagels with my husband and uncle for breakfast, and while it was a decent experience, it didn't really stand out compared to other local spots. My uncle ordered the cinnamon roll and orange juice. While it was fresh and sweet, it wasn't anything that would make you crave it again. I went with the 6-cheese bagel toasted with cream cheese, paired with a caramel macchiato. The bagel was good, with a nice cheese flavor. The caramel macchiato was solid but not the best I've had. My husband tried the nova lox on an asiago bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. The bagel was fresh, and the cream cheese added a nice kick, the lox tasted fresh. Everything was fine but not exceptional.
The restaurant itself was clean, which was nice, but the seating was limited. The staff was friendly but clearly overwhelmed and busy, which made the service feel slightly slower than expected. Overall, Einstein Bros. Bagels offers a solid breakfast, but it doesn't have that wow factor you might find at other breakfast...
Read moreI paid for 2 bacon egg and cheese and only got bacon on one of them. The employees at the Greentree PA location are rude, ignorant, and nasty. I called and asked them to add mayonnaise to my sandwich and she said it would cost extra but I can give you some mayonnaise packets for free which doesn't make any sense. So the store buys mayonnaise packets and gives them for free, but I can't get mayonnaise put on my sandwich that they have on the expo line? I will never order from this location again. The portion was small. Hardly any cheese. Didn't taste fresh. From now on I will buy everything myself and make it at home. Save your money folks. Don’t support a business that isn’t accommodating to their customers and that are just there for a paycheck. Everyone is lazy, and no one takes pride in their work anymore, and that’s a disgrace. If you don’t want to do your...
