It is a wonderful place, I went to this theater as a youth and I'm excited that it is up and still in business, The acoustics are great and very clean facilities the staff is just awesome and the place has a good variety of movies and plays.

Great historic theatre in a great town with a great leadership team that really provides a great service to their community. We love the Capitol!

Very cool theatre downtown. I'm glad it's open, it's a little small but they usually have a good selection of shows throughout the year

My husband, grandson and I showed up to see Spinal Tap on 8/25/2022 ,scheduled to start at 7PM. There was another couple waiting as well. The theater was dark, showed no signs of opening by showtime so we left. Afterwards I saw the notice on the website that the theater reserves the right to cancel shows if no tickets were sold within 48 hours of the showtime. Makes sense, but it would have been nice if someone had taken the time to post a notice on the door advising of the cancellation. Apparently we weren't the only ones who didn't know this. Since I haven't experienced an event at the theater yet, I can't really rate it but in order to post this, I have to choose a...

A small, humble, old-fashioned one-stage theatre, yet very elegant, classical and spacious - in a sense, it reminded me of my pre-to-mid-teen years when I lived near Charleston, SC and used to go to the Dock St. Theatre, a place where I actually performed once on stage as part of the Children's Theatre segment of the Dock St. Theatre Company in Mt. Pleasant. My case here was actually to shoot video of a wedding between members of the local theatre community yesterday, but it was a very surreal, almost magical kind of experience that reminded me of...

Accommodating family fun on a budget. $5 for 2 hours of entertainment for this particular show. They serve adult beverages and snacks/drinks for the kids as well. They show movies and host theatre productions at this location. The facilities were clean and they had ramp access so everyone can participate. Super friendly/helpful staff. Value for your dollar. Historic building....
