So we had a fun early evening. First, we went to the General Morgan Inn to see the amazing artwork of my friend Joseph Kilday. He is a local artist here in Greeneville, whose works of art are currently being featured in the hallway of the World Famous Hotel. While walking around, checking-out Joe's masterpieces, we came across a really quaint Brand New, old-school type candy shoppe, called Sweeter than Sweet Candy. Talk about bringing me back to the days of feeling like a kid. It reminded me of the candy shops that used to be in mall Food Courts. We started talking with the new owners, Mike and Erin. Turns out, the store just opened in mid-October and the couple has FL connections, amongst others. As usual, we found we have friends in common. After standing around chatting and browsing for approximately 30 mins, we wanted to support their small business. We purchased some Candy Bars; Hammond's to be exact. We got Chicken and Waffles, Candy Cane Crunch and PB&J Sandwich. So far, I've only tried the Chicken/Waffles combo. It was definitely different but definitely tasty. If you get a chance to visit their brand new candy shop in downtown Greeneville, you won't be disappointed. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR SWEET TOOTH. Tell them Marci and Tom sent you. The store can be accessed by inside The General Morgan Inn or directly from S. Main Street. Thank you to Mike and Erin for the enlightening conversation. We needed it too!!! We will definitely be back.

A beautiful store that’s incredibly clean! Well decorated and a nice variety of candy. Not to mention a huge variety that you can’t get in anywhere else in town and that you may have never seen before. Very friendly staff who helped us and allowed us to spend plenty of time looking and touching it all. Highly recommend!!

Linnea found so many of the candies that she saw on Tic-toc, and Gabriel absolutely loved the Butterscotch beer 🍺, it actually tastes exactly like the butterscotch candies!

GREAT service, respectful and kind. Cool products, I like to stop by after school once in a while. Awesome products, great quality. Clean environment, and overall just a great candy shop. This is exactly what we needed in Greeneville! I recommend stopping bye once in a while, they have some cool older candies and even PB&J Chocolate (which tastes delicious...

Very cute little candy shop with a large selection! I brought my boy is as a good behavior reward today and he absolutely loved it. Plenty of choices, very clean and the gentleman working was awesome; great attitude, even greater mustache! We got a very good price on the candy as well, I expected to pay a lot more than I did! Check this place out you...
