Half Price Books — Attraction in Greenfield

I went to the store to look around one day, and I noticed that there was a kid playing with Nerf guns off to the side. I went over there and saw that they had Nerf guns for sale, but they were all used. I then went to the buy counter And asked if they would give a decent price for Nerf guns that had never been used still in the box. I was told absolutely. The woman who I talked to said they haven’t really been selling because there are no darts and the guns they have are used , but that brand new ones still in the box never opened would sell really well and I would get a good price for them. I immediately went home loaded up my car with my boxed collection of Nerf guns and took them to Half Price Books. 15 minutes later they gave me an offer of $20 For all nine boxed Nerf rifles, and Nerf rival rifles. I almost collapsed. Maybe the staff should get on board with each other as far as pricing things. The woman who I had talked to was off in the corner and heard the conversation but didn’t respond. Attempted to bring some books up to the Greenfield location this evening to be sold, and also wanted to grab something else that I knew for a fact they had on the Shelf. I was greeted by a gentleman guarding the door. I was told that they closed in "like 13 minutes." I said okay great well I have a few books for you guys to look at and there's one thing I want to grab. He proceeded to block my way in the store. I was confused for a moment and I said to him wait oh you mean I can't come in. He then said yeah we close in like 13 minutes... Really??

It seems to me that if youyou want to close your store at 7:46 p.m, and not 8 pm, you she probably update your hours on the door and on your website. I wasted a 25-minute drive to the store because somebody clearly didn't want to be at work. No not all employees at that store are like this.. I have had good experiences there. I had some travel books that we no longer needed and decided to take a short drive to Half-Price Books and sell them. Almost immediately I was greeted by one of the associates by the book-selling area and he collected my books, and described the book buying process. After they had my books to evaluate, I was informed I would hear my name on the paging system and that would be my que to return to find out the amount they would purchase the books from me. A few n]minutes went, by allowing be to browse the many aisles and shelves of used /new books - what a great selection of almost any topic you can imagine. Then I heard my name as I was called.
