Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Greenfield

I don't know what the statistics are for turning around a 1 star review to a 5 star but this place did it. The last three visits to this location had been TERRIBLE like we will never go back bad. Its been a year or so though and some of my family gave us a gift card for the place not aware of our distain for it. No birthdays or holidays coming up where we can re-gift it either so we cringed and decided to take the family. Honestly what I saw and experienced was incredible from start to finish. The host was actively attentive and working diligently(almost running) to make sure tables got opened and that they gave us a real timeframe for our wait. (commonly lied to about) Then when we got to our table COVID-19 friendly (my father appreciated) spaced. Emily was our waitress; I want to say it was just her because she was the main face and force behind our experience but it was the whole crew. She was at the table quickly and fast to get our orders in the pretzel bites arrived just a short while after they were ordered the drinks came around almost instantly. The kids meals were right on time the adults meals were fantastic, well prepared and cooked as ordered! My family and I were simply blown away by the experience enough so that I am even here changing my review. So I want to say thank you to everyone at this location for making my wife's birthday with the family an excellent experience had by all! Emily you were fantastic and one of now 3 waitresses in my life that could keep up with the my refills. Thank you again EVERYONE there that evening perfect score above and beyond any of my wildest...

today I had a very bad experience in this branch. I have not been here for 2 years now and I took my wife to dinner today and when I entered I smelled a very bad smell and I thought that it was just a smell that might have came from outside the place. when we were seated the floor under our booth was slippery and felt like there is oil on the floor. we asked our waitress what would she recommend and she offer a burger that sounded awesome and we agreed to get it for both of us. we asked for the fried onions as a starter and it came good (not the best as we had it before but good). I noticed the waitress was arguing with the other staff members and she was very loud even other people noticed that. the burgers came and the buns were cold and like they have been smashed before serving them. the meet was saggy and not even hot. the dressing was not right for some reason. I took a bight from my burger and felt it was not right so I left it on my plate not finished and I enjoyed my fries. my wife wasn't able to finish her burger too cause she felt that there was something wrong about it. the waiters came back after 10 - 15 min and asked us if we want the burgers to be wrapped and I said no thanks. she didn't even bother herself to ask why we haven't finished them or if there is something wrong and just said " you can pay on the portal and you are good". I am writing this not to complaint but to make sure that the management/owners take more care of their business cause this branch was one of my favorite places to have a good burger. We arrived at 7:20 and the restaurant closed at 9:00. The restaurant was not busy att all. All of my wife's food was made correctly. My food was made wrong twice.

I ordered a Scorpion Sauce Burger, no cheese, no aioli. The first time as my side, a side salad was ordered without cheese. The salad arrived with cheese on it and the burger with aioli on it. I sent them back.

Ten minutes later my salad came out and was fine. After I finished my side salad, I waited about five minutes for my burger. I double checked my burger only to discover that the garlic aioli was transferred to my new burger with the tomato slices from my previous burger. I was not happy.

After speaking with a manager, who apologized for my experience, my burger was remade for third time. After another fifteen minute wait, the burger arrived, made correctly with my new side of extra crispy fries.

The burger tasted good and the scorpion sauce was phenomenal. The fries were excellent !

Our service was fair at best with how sparsely busy the restaurant was at the time. Though the burger was very good, it didn't make up for the brain damage to go through in getting my order correct.

The manager took my burger off the check but that didn't make up for the poor experience. In fact every time we have gone to Red Robin something has went wrong.

No burger is worth the frustration especially with the long wait on a night of sparse business.
