Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden - A Serene Escape in Greensboro, NC
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're looking for a tranquil escape in Greensboro, NC, the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden is a must-visit! This beautifully landscaped garden offers a perfect blend of nature, art, and serenity.
From the moment you step in, you're greeted by vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and charming walking paths that make for a delightful stroll. The highlight for me was the impressive collection of sculptures scattered throughout the garden, each adding a unique touch to the landscape.
The peaceful ambiance is perfect for a family outing, a romantic walk, or even some quiet time with a book. I particularly loved the sound of the fountains and the variety of seating areas where you can relax and soak in the beauty around you.
The garden is well-maintained, and it's evident that a lot of care goes into preserving this community treasure. Whether you visit in spring to see the colorful blooms or in fall for the stunning foliage, each season brings its own charm.

There are multiple trails and the garden backs up to medium size pond. The bog garden is nestled in a neighborhood, so it's a little oasis of nature right in the middle of Greensboro. Its not a state park, but it is a nice place to take a walk on a Sunday afternoon if pressed for time. ...

And you don’t even need to drive out of town. Also, due to the size and the trees, you feel like you’re out in nature rather than in the middle of the city.
Like many places in Greensboro, they have some cool historic elements, like the replica water wheel. They also have a bit of plaques with historic tidbits scattered around.
They close around sunset, and the parking lot closes a little before then. Also, they have signs stating that you need to pay if you plan to take pictures for profit.
Overall, one of my favorite parks...
