Long time customer hesitant to write this review because of up and coming vape laws in NY, but after reading Chase’s review, I’m finally ready to give mine. Chase hit the nail on the head when he said they treat you as if your ignorant. I’ve been vaping since 2010, back when Cherry Vape was just a website. I’ve had every evolution of ecig, and am by no means an amateur. When I come in with a problem, The owner guy does help, but in such a condescending way. Mostly because my mouth piece is dirty, yet there I am in my uniform of the LANDSCAPE company I work for, I obviously work with literal dirt. But what really got to me after years of being spoken down to was when he looked me STRAIGHT IN THE EYE and said, next time you come in you get your 20% off that you’ve collected through the points. Turns out the next time I go in, (like a month later) because my tank was busted so I had to buy one of their super marked up new and fancy (that I couldn’t possibly know anything about) top of the line tanks. I needed it so I bought it and guess what? He tells me I have no coupon, no points, half the visits I made there hadn’t been logged. Said I hadn’t been in in like 3 months which was total BS. With all that’s happening with Vape laws this guy should be honoring his customers a lot better, not to Mention he never even slightly remembers me each time I walk in (in aforementioned uniform) UN REAL. Also the other owner shouldn’t be parking her big Benz in the front spots that should be for customers. Read moreWell, It certainly is better run now than when I was a teen. Stories I could tell. (only will with one that pertains to me: bought a 300$ mech-mod that ran beautifully for a few months. Unfortunately, a few months later and the thing could not fire. I tried everything. I asked for their help from what they sold me and they put their hands up, said "nothing I can do," shrugging. Disappointed, I asked if they'd be interested in buying in back for half the price so they could perhaps find someone smarter than they. My guy said he'd buy it back for 40$. That was insulting considering how they hyped the product up. Counter-Proposed 100$, the stainless steal tube that was threaded beautifully (something I'd expect from gun: seamless, perfect fit) and artfully engraved (simply as an art piece it is worth more than 40 bucks to me, plus any other artist and/or collector) it could be repurposed. I imagine it would have and would have been sold for 200. But alas that is the past. Far more professionally run now. Was my go to for juice/nic salts but I vape Menthol and considering NY law as of now banned e-liquid of many variants, from candy flavors to fruity flavors and, less sensibly, anything Menthol. Find it funny though that that menthols e-liquid was banned 4 months before Biden banned menthol cigarettes. The customer service is top notch now opposed to the two original business men. The woman I see most their is excellent, efficient, very pleasant person....
Read moreI am relatively new to vaping. I recently bought my first drip tip. I went into Clouds to look for new local flavors. The guy who helped me was a guy named Miguel. He took one look at my drip tip and saw that I needed new coils and cotton. He immediately went to work replacing my coils and cotton, without me even asking. He used very high quality wire and cotton. I think he sensed that I was new to vaping because while he was building it, he was telling (teaching) me what he was doing and why. He showed me an example of a new build and I was amazed that I was even vaping on my nasty black coils and cotton.
After he was done, I gave the new tip a try, and was really impressed at how good the build was. Expertly done - it took a while for the coils to heat up, but the vapor production was so much better than the original build that the store I bought this tip at put on. To add icing on the cake, Miguel said that the build was free!
I ended up buying 90 oz of fluid from Clouds to show my appreciation to Miguel and this store. He showed me flavors that were to my liking and even indicated which to avoid because the high sweetener content would kill my coils.
I am so glad that I walked into this vape shop and they have earned a customer for life. An additional benefit is that it is right next door to a Peruvian deli and my wife...
