Indian Bazar Greenwood IN — Attraction in Greenwood

If it was a possibility I would give no star to this store for review. When you walk into this store you're greeted with unhappy faces of people working in this store. If you have children with you they are going to keep following you and tell you to not let children touch anything. They should have a sign that says, "No children allowed" since they don't like People with kids. One time my wife took the shopping cart that was outside the store (Not to mention how dirty it was) to do her shopping inside the store. We had our two kids with us. At the register after checking out and paying for everything we had bought, this lady who was working at the register asks my wife, pointing to a left over empty wrap of a ice cream that they never bother to cleanup from the cart when it was outside, whether we ate the ice cream and left the empty wrap in the cart. I can't even explain how much of my blood had boiled hearing that, as if we had a chance to finish the ice cream inside the store and leave the empty wrap on the cart for her to see. You can take people out of India but not the behudgi, that is what it proves. We plan to never return...

PLEASE FIRE THE CASHIER LADY THAT IS RUDE.😡😡

I visit this store a couple times a month. But three days ago I visited again. There’s this lady that works there at the cashier with no smile at all. When I went to her register she didn’t greet me or look at me at all. I already felt not welcome there. She began to check out my items very aggressively and threw my bags on to the counter hard. I asked her if I could get a box of sweets she didn’t say a thing and just packaged my sweets and threw them in to my bag not caring if they opened up in the bag AND SHE dropped them onto the counter hard like I’m some kind of animal. I was very disappointed and felt insulted. I have never experienced this kind of customer server at an Indian grocery store before. Most Indian people are very kind but this lady was so mean and rude.

PLEASE INDIAN BAZAR OWNER IF YOU ARE READING THIS… FIRE YOUR EMPLOYEE AT THE REGISTER.. SHE WILL MAKE YOU LOSE ALOT OF CUSTOMERS BECAUSE SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND TREATS PEOPLES FOOD LIKE TRASH. NO SMILE OR NO TALKING AND SHE THROWS MY ITEMS HARD. I FEEL VERY UPSET WITH THIS TREATMENT. IM A HUMAN NOT A DOG!! PLEASE...

This used to be a good store with decent service, not anymore unfortunately, I believe after certain sales threshold their rudeness kicked in as usual. Anyway, today was my last trip before I said goodbye to their rudeness, I just told this guy at register that the last coconut I purchased from him was rotten, and he rudely goes, "Sir, ab mei iske andar to nahi tha", (Sir, now, I wasn't really inside it), (seriously? somebody needs to educate him that he is a vendor in a regulated/civilized area), I told him by that logic you are not liable for anything you sell, since you aren't inside any item/packaging you sell here.Honestly, I wasn't expecting a refund or anything given it was just a matter of couple of bucks,I just wanted to inform him, since I have to drive almost 30 mins one way, finding anything bad at home is a big disappointment. Save yourself from disappointment, plan ahead and drive to Patel Brothers on north side for best prices, service, and items, going forward that is exactly what I am...
