Nail Envy — Attraction in Greenwood

I attempted to visit here today in the hopes of getting a full set with gel polish. Upon arrival I immediately asked the woman if they did walk-ins to which she replied yes! After waiting around 10 minutes the woman who would be doing my nails (Marissa) arrived and was immediately upset/annoyed that she had a walk in waiting on her. When the male staff informed her I was her walk-in she loudly and publicly voiced her annoyance by saying “Oh my god why?” She then walked up to me and very rudely asked me, “you don’t set appointments?” Obviously irritated that I was there she was nothing but rude and definitely ensured I would not be returning to the establishment ever again.

I understand that walk-ins can be an inconvenience but instead of making me feel like a burden to the business as a whole you should have just said no to my request right off the bat. Instead I was subjected to the annoyance and attitude of your employee proving that customer service is of no concern...

I had an appointment at 5:15pm for a gel mani/pedi. I didn't get out of there till after 8pm. It was the worst mani/pedi I've ever had. They girl that did it was extremely slow and her quality of work was very poor. The owner attempted to fix the mani, but was in a rush to get out bc it was past closing time. A week later I went to a different salon and they asked me what happened to my nails. I'm glad there are many salons around to choose from, because this one needs to be avoided. I actually found a little salon in my small hometown and I've been going there the last few times, they've done a fantastic job! The new place I've found has much better prices than Nail Envy. Let me start off by saying my first visit was a good experience, but today was not. I provided a picture and was told they did not have that color. I was not asked if my nails were short enough nor was I asked what shape I wanted. The shape of the nails are not even and I had to file the tips myself due to the roughness snagging my pants. Some nails are square and some have that coffin look. My coworkers said, “They look half assed” and “They’re not evenly shaped.” The young lady didn’t even use the under nail cleaner on my right hand and left dip powder on my skin.
