I decided I wanted something sweet and thought I would go to DQ quickly and grab a blizzard. I had no clue what flavor/s I wanted. When I pulled in I couldn't believe how many cars were in line to place an order. I got in line at 9:06 pm and didn't get to the order box for 28 minutes. I didn't mind waiting at all because I think it's well worth the wait but I did see a few cars leave the line prior to ordering. There was no inside service offered. I don't know if it was just because they were close to closing time or if they just don't offer inside service at all. There was 1 issue I feel should be addressed but I'm not even sure how it would be done... Since there's the entrance directly off of 135 as well as an entrance from behind the store I did see cars trying to cut in front of cars that had been in line for several minutes. These cars were coming in from the rear of the store. I person did let 1 car in front of them and I could clearly see the frustration on the driver face through their side mirror in the car in front of me. I too wasn't really happy about this either but what was I going to do? Jump out of my car and say the line starts way the hell back here?? LOL I don't know how well that would have gone over, especially these days with so much road rage and ppl just randomly popping a cap in someone, anyone for even the simplest of things so best to just mind my own business and stay the heck on my own car and just chalk it up to ignorance and down right rudeness. The blizzards I ordered was the royal strawberry cheesecake which was delicious and I also ordered 1 of the ice cream cone flavor which also was delicious. I also got 2 of their 2/$4 chicken strip snacks. 4 chicken strips for $4 seems like a decent deal and they were piping hot with a nice crispy outside and moist chicken inside. The dipping sauce I got was their BBQ which comes in a very generous size container. Waiting in line for nearly 1/2 hour to get this food may seem ridiculous to some but in all honesty I did watch the line at the Culver's next door and their line wasn't moving nearly as fast as DQ. This is just how any ice cream place is going to be on a nice spring/summer evening. I'll wait in line again I'm sure next time I decide I want a blizzard. It is interesting to note that literally 8 days prior to this visit there was snow on...
Read moreDeserves zero stars. This store is ALWAYS rude and in a hurry and tonight was the last draw. We went through the drive thru as we do at least once a week... we ordered a mini strawberry blizzard... she says, “Is this all?” My husband explains, “I’m sorry, we are a large family and will have a large order pls bare with me.” He begins giving the rest of the order and half way through again is asked if that’s all. He apologizes and says almost... he finishes and she rattled off the order and he said please slow down I can’t understand a single word you’re saying. She slows down and he corrects what is wrong with the order, gets to the window to pay and they start handing out items. We get to the twist cone and she slams the window... let’s assume the window is heavy or the wind blew and so it slams.... well we are short a twist cone. We start waving for her and she doesn’t acknowledge us. We honk a few times, still nothing so we sit there. She realizes she has a line and we aren’t going anywhere and comes back and says yeah. He explains we didn’t get the last twist cone... SHE SLAMS THE WINDOW. That wasn’t the window being heavy or being caught by the wind. She hands over the med cone and says that will be 2.58... we pay then I ask to speak to the manager (needless to say I only see teenagers) she throws her hands up, rolls her eyes and states, “I am the manager”. Well then, why are you being so snotty to us? She tells us to leave her line or she’s calling the police, ok we’ll whTs your name then so I can call someone higher than you and corporate tomorrow... again I’m told to get out of her line or she’s calling the police. We tell her to call the police and it’s pathetic she’s acting that way bc she can’t do her job let alone be professional. I then tell her I will be calling to make a complaint and she shrugs her shoulders and calls the police. I then call the store a little while later and a young guy answers the phone and I ask who the manager is on duty and he tells me the owners name is Matt but couldn’t give me the managers name for it’s against the law. So, I’m starting here with a review, then I’ll call Matt and...
Read moreHow many years ago was dairy Queen was very nice it was owned by a local family who sponsored baseball teams and so forth the pictures were all over. That is how I always have remembered small businesses like this specially dairy Queens. Someone else is taking it over and I do believe it's foreigners. They can't get your order right no matter how you order it. You can't get anything done through them. When I place my order they shorted me a cheeseburger which I had ordered two. When I went up to try to get my other cheeseburger which I had ordered I was told that they messed up the order and then ring up the second cheeseburger. Instead of just getting me a cheeseburger and fixing the situation the lady offered to sell me another cheeseburger she said sorry handed me the receipt and walked off. I don't think they understand how business works over here and I don't think they're going to do too well considering they got Culver's right next door. They've also changed over the entire story it's got a very at best disinfectant look to itdoesn't have the quaint look that it once had and all the sponsorships all that is gone it's very generic and very plain and certainly they put more money into the building and it looks then they did into the people they hire. They also have way too many people I've seen tons of people playing around not doing anything not sweeping up not cleaning there was at least eight people behind the counter and none of them really were doing much other than just talking and cutting up. Have they made better train my order have been right the first time had they had a good manager or even owner I don't know who it was but I'm assuming she was just the manager they would have fixed the situation and it wouldn't have been a problem. Truthfully I look for this business to lose a lot of business and eventually close...
