Freshmart Guaynabo — Attraction in Guaynabo

The selection is okay and the prices are high, but I still use this market as it’s better than most. And there is no Sprouts Market. That said, the people who work at Freshmart are some of the most unfriendly and rude staff I have ever encountered in any supermarket. I don’t mind that they are mostly slow and inefficient, but I wish they at least had the common courtesy to greet guests by saying “thank you and goodbye (muchas gracias and adios)” at the end of a purchase. the food is consistently either too hot or too cold. the health store prices are on average more expense than GNC and Vitamin Shoppe. the employees are sometimes inattentive or even discourteous. the customer loyalty rewards are in points and due to a computer "glitch", they lost $6.00 of my loyalty points and despite several attempts by me to get the matter reconciled, Freshmart management in Garden Hills told me to forget about it. really. I lost $6.00 and I am one of their every day customers. I am phasing them out and looking for other eating options. I suggest the same to others that ask me. Publicly, I do not recommend them. I actually love this small mall because, while it seems like a simple place to be seen, it's also a hidden gem. Freshmart is one of my guilty pleasures, and for some reason, I'm able to fly under the radar at this location. It's a fast transaction that allows you to casually check people out and get provisions for the rest of the day. I just wish they had more premade food from the deli at...
