I don’t write reviews. This will be my first and last. I’ve been coming since it opened 4/5 years ago. Everything I got from here was great. Owner cleaned house and hired new people. I go to buy a rig & a carb cap. When using it at home, I had 2 uses before the hole with airflow from the banger to the water was clogged. Zero airflow. That hole shouldn’t be that small and I could’ve only knew by using it. Also, the carb cap is very poorly made. Top and bottom of it looks sliced off, like broken. I go back for an exchange initially because I know things happen. Guy that sold it says no & that his manager said no. Being surprised by this, I ask that his manager tell me that directly and tells me to come in when he’s in. I do that and meet Omar, the supposed manager. He proceeds to dismiss me very rudely and refuses to sympathize, noting that it was used and that I fully knew the hole was small before I bought it (he wasn’t there when I bought it). I proceed to demand a refund ($80) and get very frustrated at his lack of sympathy as a supposed business man running a smoke shop. It becomes very clear that Omar doesn’t know how to run a shop so I demand to speak to his boss, the owner of the place. He calls his boss, explains the issue, boss them offers me an exchange, I refuse, boss then tells Omar to refund me. No more than a 3-5 minute phone conversation. I shouldn’t have had to make this a 2 day process with heavy push back to make sure I was treated fairly. On top of that, when Omar was refunding me, he had the audacity to tell me “congratulations”. Not sympathizing with your customers is one thing but patronizing one of your customers has to be one of the most unprofessional gestures to do. All smoke shops should understand some of their products might come with issues. Apparently only the owner here knows that and he’s not there more often than he is.
