WAIT --- I'm torn writing this review: on the plus side, I want this business to flourish and for more people to be "on it"; on the down side, that would mean this isn't just known to "a few" and I might have to wait when all the people en-masse start coming....but I must give CREDIT where CREDIT is DUE!
First off, I am a first-timer: I've seen a few food-bloggers rave about this place, but it's NJ; there are SO MANY options to get platters and gyros. However, I was in the area, it was just a few minutes past 11AM, and I said LET'S GO. Employee who was at the cashier helped me in choosing the Monster Platter ($13.99), which is CRAZY: it comes with chicken, lamb, and falafel --- with rice, salad, and FRIES. If that wasn't big back enough --- I also ordered a side of samosas as they are fried to order.
One of the workers, on my way out, handed me to try a free Sweet Potato Cheesecake to try; service from entering to leaving is a 10/10.
Now to the food ---
Monster Platter --- I mean, look at the picture. EVERY. PLATTER. IS. INSTAGRAM. WORTHY. They put effort in their food --- and the portion they give you will leave anyone satisfied. I had mine with the white & green sauce, with a bit of the blazin' sauce "dashed" on my platter. CHEFS KISS
Samosas - Samosas were fried fresh to order, and served with a refreshing green sauce. They were fresh and flavorful. Good, nothing remarkable so 8/10.
Sweet Potato Cheesecake - Slapped. Get one.
The inside of the restaurant (at least at opening) was very clean and orderly. Menus were easy to understand, and organized beautifully.

Recently ordered another lamb platter, and tried a chopped cheese. Everything was just so heavy and we felt kind of gross after eating it. Yes, I know it's not meant to be healthy food, but it kind of had a bad aftertaste, and we were burping this up hours later. It was not pleasant. The chopped cheese had way too much sauce, and the steam must have cooked the lettuce, making it an oily, soggy mess.
I guess it's back to the drawing board for a go-to gyro place.
February 2025 review:
We had a DoorDash deal and didn't feel like cooking one Sunday, so we ordered some dinner for pick up. For apps, we had falafel, and sweet corn nuggets. Both were good. For mains, hubby had the mixed platter, and I had the lamb platter. For $13, this was so much food! I had to save mine for lunch the next day. I added fries to the platter, which I highly recommend. Platters come with pita bread, a small salad and some pickled cabbage. The rice was a bit too oily for me - I think they add butter to it. Next time, I'd opt for either a sandwich or a salad instead. I'll also have to try out their phillies and the chopped cheese.
Glad to have a decent and affordable gyro option...

The lamb gyro was a let down. Oddly cut meat. Not strips more of a cube shape. Don’t eat here if you’re looking for a “typical” gyro
The cheesesteak was a let down. Not good. Would not recommend. Strange flavor to me. I love cheesesteak’s. I always order a cheesesteak from every establishment if it’s on the menu, to review it. This one went to the homeless.
The fries are typical seasoned fries that every halal place has.
The interior- Two large industrial fans blowing in the waiting area due to no AC. Loud, loud ethnic music to play over the fan noise. Clean. Many employees. Decent drink selection. Well organized chip selection. (Organized by color)
P.O.S. Ordering system. No employee contact needed. Pay and wait for order number.
Overall, I will not return and will not recommend the...
