(the candles and paper happy birthday/squish were not purchased at stop and shop) I was so happy with the cake I ordered! I called two days before I needed the cake and was able to get my order in over the phone. I had requested a plain white cake with pink and teal border with sprinkles - i had mentioned that my daughters bday was squishmallow themed and the girl who was taking my order offered to hand draw the squishmallows since they didn’t have that theme. I told the girl it was okay that i didnt want to cause a hassle (honestly thought it would take too long and didn’t want to risk not getting the cake in time) - to my surprise she did it anyway and i was so happy she did! I love when there are individuals who enjoy what they do, and who are willing to go above and beyond for clients. Thank you thank you! My daughter loved it :)

If there was less than 1 star I’ll be sure to give them that. They have different ways to scam people, be careful when you go there to buy anything. They have prices on shelves with different prices on the cash. When you buy bunch of stuff you will not notice that until it’s too late. And the customer service don’t help at all, in fact there always have an excuse for there mistakes like the tag is old, it was for old products, or someone just put it there. Don’t deal with them, count your fingers before you leave coz you gonna lose one of them there. Be careful all, do the math before you reach the cashier. The worst experience ever in retail stores.

This stop&shop is ok but it has 1 big problem that needs to be addressed, when you 1st walk into the store the carpet stinks badly, it needs to be either cleaned or pulled up, it gives off a funky smell , I can’t believe nothing is being done about this stinkin filthy carpet problemā€¦šŸ¤¢šŸ¤®

Not often do I take the time to write a review, only when I think it’s very necessary, worth my attention or after having a bad experienced. Today, 8/7/24, I had an uncomfortable experienced at this Stop and Shop. I’ve been shopping here over decades and, I’ve never been so terribly offended with one of their workers. So, on my drive back home I decided to stopped at this location to purchased a few items for my upcoming medical procedure. I’ve been overwhelmed for weeks and days, feeling of anxiety and, mentally and physically preparing myself for my procedure. I got to the self checkout machine and, while checking out a few items, I noticed that I only picked up one of the item instead of two. The male worker, I won’t say his name, he’s older, who was standing there, I asked him if I could pay for both items and get the other item after I checked out. I was appalled by his response and, attitude when he said, ā€œmake sure you showed it to me before you leave. ā€œI said, excused me!ā€ Then he said, ā€œI want to make sure you’ve the right item.ā€ Ouch!! I wasn’t sure what kind of day he was having but, he didn’t worth my time at that moment to respond to his accusations or comments. I continued to focused my energy to get my items and to get away from this obnoxious man. Even though I started to have a released of emotional humiliation… thankfully, I was able to cope through it. Afterwards, I decided that I was going to called his manager about the situation because no one should ever think that they have the right to speak to any customers or anyone in that way, or accused them wrongfully. You can’t treat people poorly because you’re having a bad day. It’s disrespectful, unprofessional and, hurtful to others. Although, I couldn’t understand what was happening in his head, I certainly didn’t needed him to give me a moral lesson on what’s right and what’s wrong. I already paid for the $0.88 items and I had a receipt to showed that I did. I’ve never stolen anything throughout my entire life and, now that I’m over 60, I would not dare to. His remarks didn’t make sense to me, and I know that I didn’t do anything to make him think that of me. Now, I’m a bit disappointed that he makes my future shopping at that location kind of limited, and memorable. I don’t ever want to interaction with this person anymore. I just want to shop in peace without anyone trying to accused me wrongfully. But, after speaking to his manager, he was apologetic. I do hope that they would considered him taking an ethics training to helped him with serving and treating people with respect. Until then, he shouldn’t been able to work around people because he’s a bad influence for the...

I only come here when it's convenient but every single time I leave exasperated and disheartened. The store is unorganized; the aisles don't really make sense. I can purchase DOUBLE the amount of groceries and house goods elsewhere with what it costs me to shop here. They do have a wide variety of products but they're unreasonably priced. It's almost 2 dollars a pound for onions. The worst part is, their produce is always rotten! Most of the time I have to go to a farmers market (papaya farm) down the street to complete my shopping list. The self checkout is always a nightmare. I choose to use self checkout because it's fast and more sanitary. However, there's one older woman there that always hassles me. She grabs my items out of my hand or off the scale and tells me I'm doing it wrong, as if I'm entering items for cheaper prices. IM NOT. Today was the last day I'll ever step foot in there because of her. 4 items were priced wrong, fine, we're all human, right? She didnt want to hear it so I had to get a little nasty with her and ask her to price check because she didn't want to hear what I had to say. The general manager needs to implement better customer service training. The only department that has been a pleasure here is the deli. Everyone there...

My husband and I have been shopping here for years and years and probably are in this store up to 5 times a week. Lately (probably within the last 3 months or so) the quality of the fresh and refrigerated/ frozen foods has gone down hill. Their raw and ready to eat food spoil almost immediately. My last trip I bought a family pack of ground beef went to use it the next day it was Grey returned to the store and they changed it out went home with a pink healthy pack used half and the next day it was grayish brown. Ice cream is frostbitten after opening meaning it was melted and refrozen. Bought firm tomatoes 2 days later mush, cold cuts last 2 days tops. Don't even get me started on my dairy milk which I have resorted to buying in quart because they never make it to the date Now before you say I am not storing properly or my bad refrigeration. Foods from elsewhere are a non issue and I am serv safe certified and work for one of the largest food service companies in the world so I live and breath foods labels dates and time/temp. The store either puts stuff back discarded by customes elsewhere in the store after sitting out of its refrigeration too long or they need a refrigeration overhaul.
