I always order a cake for my daughters birthdays every year. I usually get something that will match the plates and such at their party. I went online and could not find the theme my daughter had this year. No biggie called them to see if they had something to match. The lady went to check she said unfortunately we dont have anything like that. So I ordered a cake that just had colors of the theme we went with. She asked if we wanted any balloons or flowers on the cake or if I wanted it plain so I could get figurines to put on top. (I hadn't even thought of that.) I told her I wasn't picky and if whoever wanted to decorate it wanted to put anything on the cake it was fine. Just put happy birthday daughters name. Every time I come here (because it’s practically the only Dairy Queen here) I have to wait forever to order and receive my order, even when there aren’t long lines. If there is a long line (5+ cars) you’ll wait 30+ minutes before you’re served with something that is almost always different than what you ordered. Which almost concludes my next point - all that waiting and they still don’t get orders right. I’m not the type to complain about or return items to stores where I experience bad customer service, but the sheer incompetence of the management and staff here compels me, against my usual judgment, to warn others of this place - do not come here. However, there is a manager there named Katie who is superb. Her customer service, expedience, and attention to detail is like nothing I’ve seen elsewhere. As far as ice cream it matches us with any other dq and is pretty decent. They are fairly efficient with managing to get you through the line even when it is pretty long but I have one serious problem. Half of the time I go here to get treats part of my order is messed up. The examples seem to be honest mistakes, things like getting a normal cookie dough blizzard instead of a peanut butter one.
