Flame House Lounge — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

I wanted to leave a review based on my first and last experience. My girlfriend and I have been struggling to find a great hookah lounge. We were referred to this one by a friend. It was our first time and will be our last time. Our server was great. I can’t remember her name but she was sweet. The problem was the individual that made our Hookah for us. We asked them for a pineapple bowl Hookah which they said they could accommodate for us. We know it’s an upcharge and we are OK with that. The issue was that we were lied to. When you order a fruit bowl Hookah. You’re supposed to use the fruit as the Shisha bowl so that when you smoke it you get a hint of the fruit. That’s not what they did for us. All they did was cut a hole and put the hookah bowl inside the pineapple. When I asked the server if that’s what they did she told me no. But I used napkins to pull it out and saw that all they did was put a regular Shisha bowl inside of a pineapple instead of the Shisha directly on the pineapple. And of course charged up $70 for it. That’s misleading and false advertisement. They must’ve thought that we were naïve. Unfortunately this first experience was enough reason for me to never go back. My first time coming to this lounge I went with a friend we had a great time I’m not much of a smoker but it’s the perfect place for quite social date. The decor made the place feel cozy and homey and our waitress Alejandra was very sweet very attentive and knew the menu and food choices very well. They have all sorts of games from board, cards, jenga, ps5, and VR systems to entertain yourself with your friends and family. The food is fresh well prepared and great flavor and textures there chef knows what he is doing. But I must say these are European portion sizes not American normal sizes meaning there small and a bit on the expensive side so my advice order two of the same thing or two different entree. They had a good amount to choose from when it came to alcoholic beverages including bottle service and cocktail drinks. The music choice I went they played allot of EDM deep house and Afro house music which is fine for me. Be prepared to spend $50-$100(depending on what you get) plus tax a gratuity but trust me the food is worth the cost and all that come with it definitely would recommend and I’m looking to go again. It was our long weekend escape to Miami from North East, for me and my spouse, and our local friend recommended us to spend one night in this place. And that became a highligt of the whole trip. I say this as i would never expect something could surprise me in a hookah lounge. Our first impression about overall atmosphere was quite promising. We started studying the menue and here something happened. Our waitress whose name was Dasha took the initiative. In a very friendly manner she collected information about our preferences and our taste. She entertained us with the menue giving us great recommendations and very soon we enjoyed our food and delicious vine, and i was really admiring the cheese tham made me think i was somewhere in a restaurant on the French Riviera. When we later enoyed our hookah Dasha found some time talking to us and making our night really unforgettable. She had such a great sense of humor! That was one of the best conversations i had in some recent years. And that was with somebody i met first time in my life! God bless this place.
