The pharmacist Jen is unprofessional, rude and completely out of line. She is setting the fill time of my very time sensitive prescription (which is called in on Tuesdays and must be picked up on Tuesdays) for Thursday and refuses to bump the fill time to the correct day, knowing that I will be completely out of my life saving medication by Thursday. Since my prescription is controlled, the amount is dispensed very carefully, so by Thursday I am two days late picking up my prescription, which is completely Jen's fault. But instead of finally filling my prescription on Thursday (that I have been out of for days and that I have been calling about every 2 hours for 2 days), she picks up the phone and makes an unsolicited call to my doctor. She blatantly lied to my doctor multiple times, telling him that I was "not responsible enough to pick my prescription up on time" and that I was a "problem patient". The gall of this woman is unbelievable. She made those calls knowing full well that I had been battling her to get my prescription filled for days, and knowing that she had simply put me off for days by saying that "they were busy" and that I "wasn't the only customer that they had to serve". Basically, she called my doctor multiple times of her own volition accusing me of being late to pick up my medication (which is not standard practice) when she knew that the reason I could not get my medication was because of her inability/refusal to fill it on time. As a result, my doctor unknowingly called in needless new prescriptions for me, which contained fewer doses of my medication (because he thought I was late picking it up by choice) and then she took that new prescription called on on Thursday, and set the fill date on that for Friday night!!! So she refused to fill my life saving prescription when it was called in on Tuesday, even though she should have filled it as soon as it was called in, set the fill date for two days later on Thursday for no reason, let me run out of medication for two days, then when she finally got around to filling my prescription two days late on Thursday, instead of filling my late prescription she puts the prescription back, calls my doctor, lies to my doctor, tells him that I'm late picking up my prescription due to "irresponsibility" when the reality is that I've tried to pick it up in person 3 times over the last two days, and I've called over 10 times in the last two days inquiring about it, asks him to throw the old prescription that she already should have filled days ago out and write a new prescription for less medication, then sets the fill time on the new prescription for less medication for 36 hours away. meanwhile I have been out of medication for days and have been so sick I had to stay home from work and school. believe it or not, she did this TWICE. This pharmacy is absolutely horrible, hideous customer service, the staff is unbelievably rude, and if you ask any questions or ask them to do absolutely anything, they move twice as slow on purpose. they're petty, and they actually act to take revenge on patients and punish patients that ask them to do their jobs. KROGER you need to just fire everyone and hire new staff. two complaints about the two incidents made to the Board of Pharmacy on Jen the pharmacist, and one complaint made on the rude technician Marcie that everyone has mentioned in the reviews (who still works there by the way) and I won't be back!! ps. when I asked Marcie if there was a problem with my prescription one week (according to them they lost my controlled medication somewhere inside their pharmacy - BS lies to try to prevent me from being able to get my medication as a revenge tactic for consistently asking them to do their jobs) Marcie turns to me and loudly says, "well do YOU have a problem? it seems like YOU have a problem!" all I did was ask her if there was a problem with my prescription, because she had been looking for it for the past 5-6 minutes with no success, and that's how she acts. and, like I said, they claimed to "lose"...
Read moreThis is undoubtedly the worst pharmacy I have ever used. It has nothing to do with the short staffing, as this has been the case since well before COVID times. It’s clearly managed poorly and seems to have a high turnover rate. There’s always a huge wait no matter what time of day you go.
There have been numerous times I’ve called in a refill or my doctor has called in a new prescription and they have not filled it until I finally called to check on it. All they said was “Oh, do you need that filled now?” Like, no, I called it in just for the heck of it. This has happened at least 3-4 times, to the point I ended up running out of a daily medication and having to go without until they finally decided to fill it. (All of these times were prior to COVID too!) My most recent experience they had 3 prescriptions to fill after my husband experienced an injury. I called to check when they would be ready and they told me they would have them ready in 30 minutes. I went to pick them up and only 2 were ready and nobody offered any information as to when the final one would be filled. We ended up getting notice that it was ready right before they closed when it was too late for us to make it back there in time. And this was a prescription for a severe burn that was imperative to begin using.
I’m not sure why I’ve continued to use this pharmacy, but this last experience was the last straw and I’ll be happily looking for somewhere else to use when we need a...
Read moreHour wait times: check Rude Staff: check Not having prescriptions ready even though you were told they'd be ready: check I transferred some prescriptions here after moving, and after a handful of visits, every single one of which was miserable, I now happily drive twice the distance to visit a competent pharmacy instead of this dumpster fire.
Being told your medication would be ready by 2 on a Wednesday, then showing up there at 4 that Wednesday, only to be told that they don't have it, and it could be ready by noon on Friday is ridiculous. I mean, it's medication, it's not like we need it to live or anything...... oh wait..... yea, that's exactly what we need it for. Thanks for literally not caring about the lives of human beings. Or another time, when you show up, and are told that they didn't fill it because of an insurance issue, and to come back the next day if I urgently need it....... Did I ask you to fill it? Yes. Did you agree to fill it? Yes. Did I show up ready to pay when you said it would be there? Yes. Was it there? Nope. Any attempt to contact me after you made the decision to not...
